30 Days-Challenge

I took part in a challenge that asked participants to draw a „sketch“ each day for 30 days. It took me quite a while to figure what to draw as I wanted an overall theme. I finally decided on „favourite characters“ and planned their poses and fitting colours and now they are finally finished. I am so happy!

31 Days Progress Tracker - Slime Edition

I just wanted to show what my first version of a Progress Tracker might look like when colored. The uploaded version (on Patreon) is obviously a bit cleaner as this has been created on sketchbook paper and thus has some flaws, like pencil lines or shiny parts, where the eraser left traces.

OC-tober 2024 Day 16 - Challenge

The challenge was to draw blind or with the non-dominant hand. But when I read that, I instantly thought: "What about 'with just one line'?" So I added it for additional fun and here it is:

OC-tober 2024 Day 13 - Memes

Somehow when I read Memes, I instantly remembered the meme with the cat and how much Resenna enjoys eating. I just needed to combine that x'D

OC-tober 2024 Day 9 - Relationships

And back to Resenna again. As I do not have that many pieces of art of Layla's friends yet, I decided to use this piece of Resenna and her best friend, the Norn Grimnir. The character belongs to my partner and together they have fought many enemies and seen many wonders. But as Grimnir is three times her size, she has to walk three times as many steps as he does. Sometimes he carries her, but other times, she has to run a lot.

OC-tober 2024 Day 6 - Past

Layla originally comes from a Pen and Paper I played several years ago (around 2010). Afterwards I created my own story about her. The art above is from around that time. Back then my style was completely different.

Later on, as I developed her further, she became a short-time adventurer that actually worked as a Gladiator.

At first she had a normal childhood (second picture) until her parents disappeared one day. As she had lived alone with them in a forest, she started wandering that forest until a ground of traveling Gladiators found her, took her in and trained her. They are now her family.

OC-tober 2024 Day 4 - Under-appreciated OC

Meet my tentacle girl. I designed her just for fun and somehow love her tentacles (and the colors of them). I decided to offer her for sale as adoptable. Then I backed off as I was not sure if I wanted to keep her. Then I offered her again. I am now going back and forth until I either finally decide or someone takes pity on me...

OC-tober 2024 Day 1 - Favorite OC

I guess my favorite OC of all time is Layla. She was the first OC that I created AND kept and thus she is also my oldest. Also, I think I "know" more things about her than my other OCs.

But recently, I got another one:

This is Resenna. Yes, she is from am MMORPG (Guild Wars 2), but I grew quite attached and now she is more to me than simply a character from a game. She has personality and I got a lot of comics planned with her and her guild comrades.

OC-tober 2024

I am now more or less finished with my Master Thesis and zero motivated to do Inktober this year. But suddenly I realised that there was something called OC-tober during the last years, so I searched tumblr and stumbled upon this! And I guess I will give it a try. Hopefully I will be able to finish a few of the mandatory days :')

do i have to make new content?

nope! re-uploading old stuff that fits the prompts is allowed (and encouraged) ... old art that didn't get the appreciation it needed always deserves a chance to be shared again, it's a fun throwback!

do i have to post every day?

nope! only 10 days are mandatory (the ones in red with a star symbol) and everything else (yellow) is 100% optional! if you're busy or tired, please skip as many as you want

can i start early?

Bunny Girl Version 1

ACEO 305: "What I am, you will be..."

"...and you are what I once was."

Every month we get new themes to draw ACEOs off and this time it was mushroom and dragon. And guess who could not resist creating something for those themes? Especially something that includes both!!

I am also currently trying to improve my colours and worked really hard on this one to make the colours look interesting.
