Today I finally met Bree, I did re-shape her eyebrows and also teach her how to fill them in using different products . I get asked how I do peoples eyebrows. I do them just like I do them on myself, I pluck my eyebrows I feel like it gives me better control when taking out the hairs. I've done wax before and I don't really like it.

Makeup Brushes

Looking for cheap but good quantity makeup brushes? Well I've been using Morphe Brushes since I started beauty school back in 2008 even till now. I love how they blend your eye shadows , foundations, powders, and blush. They kind of remind me of some Mac brushes.I currently order some brushes and some blending ones that were recommended by a makeup artist I met we'll I was applying at mac.

I order at travel set because sometimes I don't like to carry all my brushes with me and I thought this set was perfect !! which was 18.95

These are the blending brushes I was recommended by a makeup artist , and I am beyond excited to try these.The one in the left  is M441 and the one in the right is M411 and both of these brushes where in  the $4 dollar rage.Tell me that's not a great deal, so if you're looking for makeup brushes and don't want to spent so much you should check out MORPHE BRUSHES  and if you live in the LA area your should check out there store in Burbank.

Foundation For Oily Skin

I put together my favorite foundations for oily skin. I myself have oily skin, I've gone through a lot of different  foundations past the years. I always look for a foundation that would make my skin look amazing without looking and feeling like you have a cakey face. We all hate that and we all joke around about not wanting that happening that to us. So here are my favorite foundations from higher end brands to drugstore brands.

I will first start with high end brand, also give you the price and where you can get your hands on them.

Nars - Sheer Matte $45.00  (Sephora)

I love how this foundations is medium to full coverage , It does not make you look cakey when apply the first layer or even a second layer for more coverage. You have to work fast with this product, it tends to dry a little fast. I like to dot one side of my face first and really work the foundation in there , then I move to the other side and do the same thing.

Coverfx- BB Gel Mattifying $45.00 (Sephora)

I am in love with this BB gel! I have nothing bad to say about this product. I love wearing this during the summer because it so light weight while giving you coverage and making your skin feeling hydrated and fresh and also getting you that nice natural glow. If you don't like wearing foundations and you are into BB creams, I recommend this brand to you, you will fall in love with it. 

Mac- Studio Fix Fluid $27.00 (MAC Store, Macys,Nordstrom)

This foundation is more in the medium to full coverage with a matte finish. I tend to wear this foundations when I have a party to attend to. I also tend to wear this foundation when I feel like I need more coverage, when the time of the month comes haha.

Covergirl- Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 $7-9.00 ( Depending where you go)

This Foundations reminds me of Nars sheer matte and Mac Studio Fix Fluid. It is light to medium coverage with a matte finish, this is my go to foundation when I  don't want to wear so much makeup and keep it in the more natural look. This probably one of my favorite drug store foundation, I've gone through 3 bottles already and two different shades.

Neutrogena -Skin Clearing oil free $13.99 ( Depending where you go)

Oh this foundations has helped me out a lot when it has come to blemishes. When I have used this foundation , it tends to control my blemishes and couple days later I see them going away. This foundations is light to medium coverage with a matte finish. If you tend to have blemishes here and there and don't want to wear heavy full coverage foundation, I honestly recommend this product to you it doesn't feel heavy , it doesn't make you look cakey.

How I do my eyeliner . I first get a little bit of my foundation and get a flat brush and make myself a guide line to see where I want my liner to go. This helps me get them even on both sides. #eyelinertutorial #NYCeyeliner #motd

If you ever want you highlight to stand out more ? I always used fix + to spray to my brush then use my favorite highlighter. Before I would just use strobe cream hydratant lumineux from MAC as just my highlight. Today I used it as my base for my MAC soft and gentle highlight and it looks amazing. On the top I use the strobe cream as the base and on the bottom I didn't, you can see the difference. If you're a highlighter fan you should try this out. #makeuptips
