Another day , another Klee

Woah ! I didn’t post anything here since August, 8th 2020 ?! I guess I have to make up for lost time...!

With ‘Klee’ & ‘Winter Klee’, this is my third fanart about this character right ? I guess I’m really fond of this little girl ! (don’t call the FBI, that’s not what you think !)  The purpose of this third fanart ? I need to change my profile pic ! ♪ (and complete the monthly Genshin Impact Content Creator Renewal quota haha.. Anyway~)

Initially, I wanted to draw a Smug Klee. It would fit her perfectly; but finally the idea of a Surprised Klee came naturally as I progressed in the fanart. Finally, I’ve ended up with a little story behind the illustration : she’s fascinated by the discovery she has just made. (the really really angry shiny bomb ♫) It’s cute isn’t it ? ♪ ♫

As you can see, she went throught many changes and somehow, the mood between the rough and the final version isn’t the same.. When it comes to the expression, I think I like the vibe given from the roughs than the final render haha~ But the final render isn’t worst than the rough, it’s just a different vibe !

Klee

Heya ! It’s been quite a time I didn’t give any news about my work~

Sorry sorry, but don’t worry, during my absence, I’ve still produced some drawings...~

So today I wanna share with you a recent work I did for a community event organized from a game in beta phase I recently played.

This is Klee ! An adorable little girl a little bit “head in the clouds” from Genshin Impact ♥

The goal of this contest was to “Draw a cute ‘furry’ gift for Klee”

As her birthday was July 27th, they created an event for her !

Here’s the pitch : “For Klee's birthday, Lisa transformed our famous dandelion knight and gave her as a gift to our precious spark knight who felt so lonely in her cell ! Look at this lovely duo~♥ "But it's just for one day !" said Lisa. "Jean has works to do (and so am I~)." “

The gift I drew for her is Jean, her boss, in a chibi version with a dandelion costume. Since the Dandelion Knight is her nickname~

These are the main steps of my creation process. I don’t really remember everything about the idea and all but I used many many different references to create this work : pictures for poses, official artworks, some fanarts, many screenshots from the game, pictures of dandelion, etc etc...~

To be honest, it supposed to be a 1 day to 3 days of work for this little project, but somehow, I managed to use all the time that was given to me to work on it~ And I finished it 15 minutes before the deadline... Anyway, it was fun to do ! :)

Scribbles 002

So today, an other old friend of mine blows her 25th birthday. Congratulation to her !

When I have no inspirations, I often begin with a portrait. As I’m a person who has no original ideas...~

And then after some doodles & thought, We blend it together & it ends like this..! :)

Next, this one’s based on Atsushi Saito’s doodle. An animator, illustrator & chara designer I discovered with his work on the Eve’s MV, Heart forecast. One of my favourite MV that I’m still listening and watching it ! The animation, the colors, the directing & the character design..aah~ This MV is 11/10 and Saito-san just popped off !

This mixed of blue & pink color is inspired on Ilya Kuvshinov’s work and from the MV. It works pretty well~! I add yellow and a flower (because my friend likes flower) and voila ! Happy birthday ! :)

Scribbles 001

Last friday, it was the birthday of a long time friend. An opportunity to scribble ! Usually, I’m a doing-things-in-the-last-minutes man, but this time I began a week before the deadline hehe :) —————————– Scribbles 001 : Café’s 26th birthday - 01.05.20 ( https://tmblr.co/ZODJscYGSRsAeu00 )

It was the 1st rough but I kept it since I like the energy in the lines & the vibe in the colors giving the picture something vintage. Plus this style isn’t something I usually do lol.

During my researches, I wanted a scene & then I imagined something with a cat. Since she often post pictures of her cat (and her rabbit). And maybe something cute with the cat wouldn’t be bad haha !

In fact, I was supposed to do one picture as always, but I like the 3 roughs. Well, that’s all ! I hope she appreciates it & happy birthday ! ;)

Yep. Her.. Again~!

Last month it was the 10th Nier Anniversary right ? I guess I missed the chance to say “perfect timing ! I have an other 2B fanart !” lol. It’s the third now. The first one is in my sketchbook... This time I make a portrait of her and, well.. I did during my free time so it took so many days to finish it !

I started this work at the end of March. My painting is based on the 2B cosplay from Lenneth ( @lennethxvii​ ). I remembered I had no ideas what to do until I discovered her photoshoot with 9S. Well it’s a pretty good cosplay & the scenes are really inspiring. Just go check her works ! During the whole process, I was constantly listening the OST of Nier Automata in order to feel the mood. Especially the desert part since my painting is in this kind of area. (dude, I listened the OST so much that I can hear the songs in my dreams)

Before I decided that it’d be in a desert area, I experimented a lot of different moods since at that time I didn’t really know exactly what it’d want.

Well, with all of these personal drawings.. I did my part as a fan of this character & the game, so no need to do more right ? *A wild Nier Re[in]carnated trailer appeared*

Hello Tumblr !

It’s been about 3 years since I’ve created this Tumblr blog & the other one (https://its-teatime-sir.tumblr.com/) and never post a thing... Well, it’s never too late I guess ?  In this Tumblr, in general, I'm going to talk about the drawing I just posted on iTTS Tumblr. But if there’s anything else I think interesting, like short stories or I just want to tell you my life (boring) story, I’ll put here lol. -----------------------------

If I remember well, I did this during the last days of the winter holidays when for some reasons I was in the Nier Automata mood .. I think I spent a whole night to find what I wanted to draw and at the same time I listened the 12 hours straight of ‘Fortress of Lies’ on Youtube to keep the mood lol~

I began to draw with my dear 2B (no puns intended) pencil then ink. I did the post-production on Photoshop the week after, during school breaktimes. The idea is to play with a strong constrast between black & white, shadow and light, like Itahana Toshiyuki’s works on the Nier Automata novel. I kept some textures made by the inking/watercolor process.
