My top 23 tapes of 2023… and then several sets of 23 runner ups, and the animal horror I collected this year. This was my biggest year collecting, in terms of quantity. But this will likely be my last year of collecting a big number of tapes, as I now have a lot of what I wanted. But there are always new tapes to be discovered, and some grail tapes I’ll continue to hunt for in the new year!

The key to overcoming loneliness isn’t being around other people. They key to overcoming loneliness is being happy with yourself when you’re by yourself. Once your happiness isn’t connected to anyone else, and you realize you’re in control of it, it is a great place to be. You can learn to do for yourself. You can be happy alone, despite society trying to make you feel bad about it. This is coming from a subject matter expert on being alone. You may struggle with it for a while(as I did for years) but you can come out the other side and be in a great place with yourself.
