Zin didn't like dogs. And now this little one followed him wherever he went and Brick had him forcibly adopted. “He could be quite useful in battle,” the barbarian commented. How could he be useful? He was so small… was Brick going to throw him at someone and hope to hit their neck? To make matters worse, he had given it a name. Steinhard. Zin didn't think that would catch on. But as long as the blue-haired man took care of it, he should be fine.

Before they moved on to Deepwater, they wanted to stock up on weapons. The thief was in favor of the classic variant of an "interest-free-endless-gift" but was unable to convince Brick of this. So now he negotiated with the blacksmith while Zin made friends with the only true pets: cats. They were elegant (like him), pretty (like him), cunning (like him) and didn't like dogs (like him).

Class: Blink Dog in training Race: Dog

Steinhard - or simply Stein for short - had to make his way on the streets at an early age and although the young dog is not the biggest, he has a very special talent. One of his parents (sadly, he doesn't know either of them) was a Blink Dog. So he is half blink dog and half sheepdog. (At least that's what he tells himself. His father must have been in the city guard.) However, he never really learned his ability to teleport short distances and so it's not uncommon for him to get excited and bark, unfortunately landing on a nearby roof. During one such maneuver, he brought down a grim-faced elf and Stein has accompanied him ever since. After all, he has to make up for the fact that the elf fell off the roof. ­
