Androxus and Maeve

Based on the champion videos for both of them the area its set in seems very similar and given the scene in the Androxus video makes me think its set sometime around his return to the material plane from the abyss. So i like to think that he and Maeve would have run into eachother some time around the videos timeline most plausibly she’s out looting coin purses from unsuspecting victims and she happens upon Androxus. 

Thinking him some lost party go-er perhaps tries to pickpocket him gets caught in the process maybe gets a few coins nothing really much. But she tries to run thinking nothing of the consequences because she’s almost always gotten away clean from her pursuers. Only this time she gets a good distance looks back to see if she’s lost him and comes to a sudden halt as she slams into him.

 Now with his gun to her head he glares at her possibly growling something “like you dare steal from a judge of the tribunal”. Stopping himself short remembering that his encounter with Nyx lost him his rank and title of judge. Grabbing her arm and taking back what she stole from him he lowers his gun and releases her telling her to go back to whatever ally she crawled from, after which he walks off muttering to himself. 

Maeve still unsure of what happened or how he had managed to get infront of her so quickly started off away from him but stopped short and turned back towards him watching him. Thinking to herself did he start to say he was a judge of the tribunal but that couldn’t be the outfit he had on looked in shambles but did faintly look like one worn for ceremonial purposes. 

Curious as to who or what he was she followed from the a safe distance along the roof tops through the town. Finally he came to a small clearing outside the town where he finnaly made camp. He was very odd sitting there unmoving in the light of the equally odd green fire he had lit. She tried to make her way unnoticed towards him to better study him but before she could make it farther than a few feet he called to her. “Thought I told you to get lost. I doubt what little coin i have would be any use to you if you’re dead”. 

Curiosity piqued even more that he heard her with her talent for silently moving making almost no noise. Having been thwarted again at her attempts to sneak around him she dropped all stealth tactics and sat full view across the fire from him. “I wanted to know how you noticed me and even more so how you got in front of me so quickly without me even seeing you”. 

And from there a long drawn out conversation about who he is and an endless stream of questions from Maeve all to Androxus frustration hoping to get rid of her but to no avail. Finally she falls asleep from exhaustion and Androxus still annoyed at her goes to leave but instead stays and watches over her until the morning when she wakes. After many days of her following him from a distance, while stopping every now and again to lighten some poor fools purse, and nights of watching over her he finnaly gives up on trying to get rid of her. Soon he even finds him self walking with her at his side or carrying her on his back while they travel from town to town on his quest to find members of the resistance and offer his help destroying the institute that turned their backs on him and did nothing to help save him from Nyx.

Maeve continues with him intent on joining with him though she has no love for the Magistrate and the Resistance never held her interest. She would join for Androxus only wanting to stay by his side. As the only person that showed her any compassion despite his initial irritation with her or the fact she had tried to rob him. A reason made all the greater by her childhood spent as an orphan and his cold uncaring demeanour in regards to anyone else. On one occasion he had even stuck up for her when a guard caught her stealing food from a market stall. Nearly throwing the guard through a building wall all the while keeping himself between her and the guard after the guard made a hasty retreat he walked behind her to make sure any pursuing guards would go through him first.
