Let's Save The Children!
7 posts
Poverty is watching our children. Millions of them are facing starvation. The future is in their hands and it depends on us. By getting involved and helping them, you save your future, your son/daughter's future, your grand son/daughter's future. It's time to care about them! I do care! Do you?

Today, August 19, is World Humanitarian Day—a time to acknowledge the great work and sacrifices made by humanitarian workers around the world. It’s a time to remember the friends and colleagues we’ve lost this year and to be proud of what the humanitarian community has been able to accomplish.
To find out more about World Humanitarian Day, visit the official site where you can find out how to take part.
And don’t forget to check out the official World Humanitarian Day anthem, an uplifting ballad entitled “If I Could Change” featuring Ziggy Marley together with a cast of international performers.
You can also follow the event on Twitter at the hashtag #WHD2011.

Video
tea-em-are:
Some of you may, or may not know, that my boss made a documentary, and his girlfriend, Debbie Gibson (yes, that Debbie Gibson) did the theme song for the documentary.
What is the movie about? It’s about racism. It’s about the blatant genocide of red, yellow, and black babies by the unconscious willingness of us privileged white folks, who used modern technology to fight off malaria for our white countries, then denied, and continue to deny it to the underprivelaged.
A woman or child dies of Malaria every 12 SECONDS on this planet, but only in “minority” countries. UNICEF SELLS bednets. They don’t GIVE them away. They sell them for $5-$15(on a monthly budget of $20 a month this is sarcasm at best) 85 million of their 90 million budget stayed in Washington( for entertainment and airfare expenses).
Bill Gates is dillusional on his fight towards malaria. And the EPA is grossly racist. Don’t believe me? Then YOU go to the Library of Congress and read the EPA trial on DDT. All 10,000 pages. Then….let’s talk.
But for now….THIS
This video was made by a fan, and as all things made out of love, it is lovely…and god bless this soul.

“Only about half of 1 percent of our federal budget goes to poverty-focused foreign aid, so cutting these programs will have no significant budget impact at home — only damaging humanitarian effects abroad.”
