I Still Remember

I still remember how our days used to start giving cuss words to each other, every morning before the assembly began in school,

I still remember how we'd unite to prove the rightest of them wrong ending up proving them fools,

I still remember how you used to wait for me for the things that we did together, like incomplete homeworks and lunch breaks,

I still remember how you've sticked up onto me while everyone left, like I'm your world which is at stake,

I still remember how easily we made a joke out of every possible situation we've faced together,

I still remember how we stood up for each other when people left us, who had promised us that they'll stay forever,

I still remember how you have given me the next level definition of laughter,

I still remember how restless you become when you see me in pain and I'll try to trouble you as less as possible here after,

I still remember asking answers during exams, especially the subject name,

I still remember how you've learnt to predict things I'm gonna say or do and the way we leave people wondering how things you predict turn out every time to be the same,

I still remember the days when name, roll number, and date were the only things we were sure that are correct after an exam,

I still remember how an idiot like you has saved me from getting caught in school, it would not be wrong if I'll call you my lucky charm,

I still remember the calls I've made crying when I had been through heartbreaks in the past, and i thank you for cheering me up by making a joke out of it too,

I still remember the time we shared a desk in school and that was the time I got to know the real you,

I still remember how sarcasm used to run through our veins when we met,

I still remember how you have always made me feel, like our lives are all set,

I still remember how difficult it was to write this, because we've shared a major part of our lives to such an extent, that I had to dig a lot deeper in me, in every way

Bid Him Goodbye

He left like he never wanted to stay,

Along with him,he took a piece of her away.

Drenched in tears her face was,

She wept silently alone,

In her dark room, with mute screams,

Her mind was blown.

Letting her tears soak into her pillow, she fell asleep,

She determined that day,

She became focused in everything she did,

Her own newly found love she was,

Her loved ones had new reasons to applause.

Her success came out of her struggle and pain,

And she had the whole world to gain.

She made herself and her parents proud,

An example of an ideal daughter, her dad said aloud.

Life's unfair, do not forget,

If you will, you will regret.

She had her own downfalls,

But she sprang up,

She owned her flaws,

Even if life banged her up.

After dying a thousand deaths,

She learned to live again,

A new reign of a queen,

She had proudly began.

Why I love you ?
