Oh man, I haven’t posted here in a while. I’ve been so busy working and playing a among us and Phasmophobia. Oof. I miss writing so much though, doesn’t help that I’m scrolling through some old threads. I’m very slow at replying right now, but would anyone be down for some writing? It was hard for Piers to believe that this was actually happening. After all this time, was this really Asia standing in front of him again? And in this town of all places? Now that Piers knew just what was really going on in this town, a small wave of worry flushed over him as he realized this really was her. That was until the words slipped from her lips, of the monster he had become, but how- his breath caught in his throat as he listened to her, having been unable to say anything up until now. “Wait, what?” Suddenly, everything started to make sense. Why she had left, why it had been so suddenly without much of a warning. He wrapped his arms tightly around her to hold her, his eyes closing as he let himself try to relax for even just a moment. It explained why the craving he had been having all night had suddenly disappeared when he saw her, it’s like he had some kind of sense telling him she wasn’t human. Not anymore. “You’re okay, right?” He asked after a long moment, wanting to just hold her before he pulled back to look over her. He’d learned of course that vampires could heal rather quickly, but that was only the physical wounds. “Have you been staying here?”

the past few months had been absolutely awful for asia. not only did she feel bad about leaving piers at the alter, but she had the weight of lee’s untimely death on her shoulders. she hated herself. she hated the monster she had become. late night outings were one of the few things that calmed her mind and reminded her that she wasn’t alone in all of this. while asia hadn’t spoken to any of the other vampires in town about her…. condition, she still knew that they existed and that they were all in this together.

she was sitting on a bench at the edge of town, legs crossed and her sketchbook on her lap. she was lightly shading in the picture and listening to music to get her mind off of things. art was the easiest way to express how she felt without having to talk to anyone about it. even though she was lost in thought the footsteps of someone distracted her. they sounded… familiar. why did she know those steps? she debated on whether or not to turn around but curiosity got the better of her and she twisted her body to look at who it was.

her heart stopped. the world started spinning. the things on her lap fell onto the ground as she jumped up from where she was sitting to look at him. she wasn’t sure what to say, what to do. how was she supposed to explain everything? why was he even here? he needed to leave before he got hurt. before she hurt him more than she already had. she didn’t deserve him… he was too good for her. “piers.” she said, her voice sounding shaky and scared. “i can explain. i promise. just please…” she said, before she paused. “y…y..you’re a vampire.” she said, looking at him.

she tried not to… she really did but against better judgment, she ran over and hugged him. “m…m…me too.” she said quietly. she didn’t want to talk about it. those were the worst moments of her life, but those two words explained everything. why she had left. why she had ditched him. why she couldn’t explain right when it happened. did he feel just as overwhelmed as she did?

Oscar wasn’t surprised when his parents called him and Vienna into a meeting. The twins were very important to the kingdom, especially since Oscar was supposed to be king one day and Vienna would always be a princess. He was worried that his parents would ship Vienna off somewhere else to marry some prince and he’d lose his sister forever. The whole time his parents were speaking he got an odd feeling given how their attention was directed mostly towards him. When they told him he was betrothed his heart skipped a beat and just nodded, waiting for his parents to leave. 

“Yes.”He said quietly, nodding his head and turning to look at her. “My future wife will be here soon.” He said, looking nervously at her. He didn’t want to get married, but he had no choice. He couldn’t disappoint his parents. “It’ll be okay.” He said. “We need to go get ready. Come on.” He said, walking out of the throne room and wiping his eyes. He was upset, but he was trying not to show it. 

The fact Oscar was acting so calm surprised Vi a bit, but she knew he must be nervous, she could see it in the look he gave her. They were twins, and had learned rather quickly to read each other’s emotions. It had gotten hard for Vi to even think about lying to him about how she was feeling. Giving him a nod, she followed him out of the throne room, stopping outside for a moment to look over at him. “Maybe she will be super nice,” she tried with a smile, though she knew that didn’t make things any better. These betrothals arranged by the kingdoms are mostly never wanted by at least one side of the couple, maybe the princess wouldn’t want it either and they could figure something out? Doubtful though. “I’m gonna go change. I’ll meet you back here when she arrives?”

Stormy rose her eyebrows a bit as she listened to Remus’ words before shaking her head. “Not at all. If they can’t appreciate that, you may need some new friends, Remus.” She said, grinning over at him.

It was finally time to head back to school after spring break, and honestly Evie was excited. She was almost finished with her final year, which was also kind of scary since she had barely even started thinking about what she was going to do once she graduated from Hogwarts. There was a lot to consider, and it didn’t help that people kept giving her more ideas on things she could do. With that and still trying to juggle the school work she had, it was getting a tad stressful, but she was pushing through. As Evie stepped off the train, she made her way through the crowd to find her sister. “Gonna ride in the carriage with me, right?” She asked, giving the younger girl a smile. “Unless of course you’re suddenly too cool to be seen around your older sister.” She said, referring to the big win the Ravenclaw Quidditch team had had right before break.

Damiar chuckled softly at Fi’s words, nodding their head a bit. “Of course I do, it’s just,” he paused, letting out a soft sigh. “It’s been a while, you know? Since we’ve done this.” Not that they were complying, it was something that had been missed all this time. Damiar had once been in love with Ophelia, and even though they tried to push the feelings away, they had always still been there. Especially recently as they started spending more time together. “I’ve missed this too, I’ve missed all of this. But never was I too good for you,” It was something they never really admitted to, except they were sure some of their friends could still see it. A kiss wasn’t what Damiar had been expecting, but his lips still pressed to hers gently, kissing her back softly.

It had been an interesting evening for Spencer so far, a sudden headache coming on earlier in the day after his trip to the store. He’d tried to sleep when he got to the house, but had had no luck. Deciding just to try and eat instead, he was currently in the kitchen making food when it seemed like someone else’s thoughts began swimming in his mind. He tried to ignore them, thinking it was the headache that was causing them. At least until he realized the headache was gone and the thoughts were still coming, seeming to be a girl’s thoughts. The first thought he had was he was going crazy. Hearing voices? That was never good. He decided to take to his laptop to see what could be causing such a thing, too anxious to ask any of his friends about it. He couldn’t find anything though, except posts most likely over exaggerating what was wrong. That didn’t stop him from reading the articles, trying to find any clues or links to lead him to his answer. 

The thoughts were only occasional, which made him question it a little less, but one did get his attention. They seemed upset all of a sudden, and he couldn’t help but listen in this time. A frown formed on his lips as he did, leaning back in his chair. They had to be at a bar, these thoughts did seem kind of like a young drunks. Like thoughts he had had his first time getting drunk. Wait, if this was all actually serious, could he try talking back to them? There was no way this was real, people can’t hear each others thoughts. The only time he had heard of such a thing was when- no, that was impossible. That was only a myth. He could try for the laugh though, right? But what if this person had also been hearing his thoughts and was now thinking he was crazy? Shaking his head, he let out a sigh as he leaned forward against his desk. ‘Hey, I know we have never spoke before, but you seem to be upset over something someone said to you. Just know they are a piece of shit and you are better than whatever they are saying. Don’t let them get to you.’ He didn’t believe this would work, but what if it did? What if he was helping someone.
