I just wanted to let you know. When I was listening to mellow music and lying in bed I just had this recurring vision. And it was of us. It was of us looking into each other’s eyes and spinning slowly forever into eternity. And I know this sounds like a crazy drug dream. But I’m totally myself while I’m writing this. And I remember one thing as we were drifting forever- I was perfectly content to be looking at you. I was so happy I was looking at my best friend in the entire universe as we drifted off together into eternity. And I’m not one for soppy stuff of for spiritual stuff but I do believe we were meant to be best friends. I honestly and truly love you in a way I love no one else. You are my soulmate (and I don’t mean that in the romantic sense of the word. I mean that our souls are so closely linked that we were bound to be best friends) and I have a connection with you that I don’t share with my parents, my brothers, my lovers, my friends. I have a connection with you so beautiful and unlike anything I’ve ever seen that it transcends everything, and I know we will be best friends from now until the end. oblivion. You know I hate oblivion. But at the gates of oblivion, there is absolutely no one I would walk arm in arm with except for you. I am absolutely humbled and honored to be lucky enough to be linked with such a beautiful creative passionate hilarious soul as you. I hope that, if there is an afterlife or continuation of any sort, I get to spend it with you by my side.
