"At all times a man risked falling into the snares of those who hated and wanted to persecute him, or into the arms of those who loved and wished to protect him." ~ The Painted Bird

Logged back onto Tumblr to post on my alt and thought why not post on main? I mean Twitter is dead so what other social media is there. You're not going to post on Facebook because that's where your grandparents all hang out (mine are dead so not true). Just wild to think about how times have changed and what's going on. It's like a relic, like an abandoned house. I used to wonder what it was that made someone walk out the door that last time and never return. Like what is the driving force there? Do they come back someday and reminisce or was it a gone forever? Perhaps I feel it now, the driver was change. They had to go, they had to leave, they never knew why... But maybe they did!?! It was to clkeep the memory alive. To keep that faint golden light that shown from the ceiling fan on cool fall nights alive. That to stay would be to make new memories that would overwrite what was on the tape already. That the only way to survive was through destruction. Was through abandonment. Moses down the Nile on a basket of hope of pure fear and dread; least the baby end up dead. To fold it all in one last time and walk out the door into a memory. A memory forever lost and fading until one day the lights like the home's, go out forever into the unknown of the night, the universe, the existential. Where there is, but who can say.

Fade away until one day you disappear, into memories and folktales of the living.

Is Christian metal any good
Some is, others not so much. Like an genre. The best thing about Christian metal is unlike CCM it's out in the mainstream where you have to be good or dissappear.

did you go to any riots in missouri over the summer? do you know people that did?
No, I do not know of anyone that attended any riots. I attended several protests but no riots. I think an ex-friend attended a trump riot er rally. Thats about it. I wish Riot fest was still around, I would have attended that for sure.

Take a deep breath. Have hope that everything will be okay. Meditate on the good things. Give all your worries and anxieties to Jesus. Remember you are in His hands and He will never let you go. You are loved and uu are stronger than you think. 鉂わ笍鉂わ笍鉂わ笍

Ray, have you seen any religious films that you've actually liked that was something other than Passion of the Christ or Prince of Egypt? :P
I mean like totally enjoyed it as a great film, or just really liked? Because Kirk Cameron stars in some of the truly worst movies ever and I like them because they are so bad. Like God鈥檚 Not Dead series, absolutely enjoy those. Are they good? No. But they are fun!聽
Let鈥檚 see,聽 Crime of the Age (a 32-minute long Christian mystery drama from 1988 by Dave and Rich Christiano) is fantastic.聽
Not technically Christian, but about missionaries in Japan: Silence by聽Martin Scorsese based on the fantastic book Silence by聽Endo Shusaku. Highly recommend the movie and book!

I never played it much. But I have many many many great memories of watching my siblings and mother play it. But I did play! Racing Epona, playing with my brother on WInd Waker as TIngle dropping bombs everywhere. Yeah Zelda is great!聽
