Updates

Hello everyone! A few updates.

I've escaped the smelly claws of Twitter and now have a Bluesky profile! I like the vibe there much better and I feel more safe about posting my art there, so I'll be dual posting here and on Bluesky.

I didn't get too far on that Catober challenge, did I? XD Work's been really taking it out of me but I still want to chip away at a few challenges.

I'm aware I have a lot of messages in my ask box, I'll be getting to them ASAP.

I've also been wondering if I should make a seperate Tumblr for politics/activism posts. I understand a lot of people come to Tumblr as an escape, so I'd be open to moving it to another blog altogether and keeping this as the same silly fanart blog it's always been.

Fan Art - Tsukaimon and Devidramon

Felt like drawing some of my favourites! I wanted to make this a mirrored pic with two of my other favourites, Guilmon and Growlmon, but I was having trouble with the poses so I'll come back to it later. I want to make the character an OC but I haven't decided on a name for her yet. I do know she's a little gremlin.

I've been trying to replicate the shading style I used on this drawing, but the file bugs out a bit in Krita so I'm having trouble remembering how I did it XD

Valuable use of my Sunday

This isn't absolute and sometimes there is crossover between terminology cause my brain turns into goo around big floompy dogglescruffs. It's based more on feeling than size/coat type.

This game's such an underrated gem. It got me through a really hard period of my life. Can't wait to replay it with my enhanced 3DS.

For those of you who haven’t played Tactics Advance before, the world map is completely different from anything in almost any other Final Fantasy game out there. Whenever Marche unlocks a new location, you get to figure out where to put it on the map.

There’s no “right” way to arrange everything, but you can get the occasional reward if you put a certain town in a certain place. I’m going to follow AstroBlue’s Sengoku Fukkatsu guide.

I can’t imagine any playthrough in which I won’t be needing all the Genji gear, so I’m going to follow these numbers. Slow payoff, but ultimately worth it, I’m guessing.

This map system is designed to be something players can experiment with for replayability’s sake. There really is no “canon” map for Tactics Advance Ivalice, and that’s important to keep in mind while progressing through the game.

It has been 8 months and counting now, but every day I choose to be shocked and scandalized and rendered speechless by the utterly brutish, utterly horrific atrocities committed by Israel every single day. It should never become a new normal to know a whole country’s being genocided and to choose to distract ourselves w other things instead. It should never be standard to look at fundraisers of families suffering and choose to ignore them, to look the other way, to write them off as scams to alleviate any sort of guilt or gravity or moral implication that comes with ignoring these fundraisers. They should never ever be things we are okay with because it’s “just what Israel does now” “it’s just how people are” “it’s just racism.”
