Been AFK in writer's block hell for a while and forgot to reblog this. A million sorrys. This is a goddamn masterpiece, and I actively hate that you made so many different versions because I don't know which one to choose to put in the story proper. They're all so perfect!

On her neck, the blue snowflake on her Mark glowed.

Did… did I…? She looked back up at the purple snowflake, her ears folding back as the realization sank in. ...is this glyph… mine?

"Well… that's new."

Blake snapped back to focus, looking through the glyph - her glyph - at the Paladin just a few meters away from them.

I finally finished this piece! It was a lot of work but I'm very happy with the results, this was such an important and badass scene in LiLaL, I just had to draw it.

And here we go! Second fanart for Linked in Life and Love! This time from the very beginning. I wanted to draw the Aura sight that's described in the fic for so long... Of course I had to go for that beautifully angsty moment of connexion.

I have a problem. It's called Linked in Life and Love, and I'm going to make it everyone's problem. By which I mean I fully intend to draw fanart of it until my hands fall off, because this story just has me vibrating with excitement every time a chapter releases.

Current plan is to draw one piece per chapter, I'll start over from the beginning now that I have exorcised this particular image :3

Linked in Life and Love Q&A #1

Nothing too spectacular for the first one, just some quick questions from the last few chapters.

1.

In my story, most Affinities are rather passive.  Usually its something useful, but not groundbreaking.  For instance, being able to see through each others eyes, or maybe having something akin to Spider-man’s spidey sense.  Getting an Affinity that’s on the level of, say, Ruby’s superspeed or Pyrrha’s polarity manipulation is the exception, not the rule.  Team RWBY just happen to be one of those exceptions, to a game-breaking degree... if they can master it, that is.

Oh, Zwei is on the way.  And now he’ll have three kitties to play with! >:)

These two questions sum up most of the reviews for chapter 35.  Everyone seems confused as to whether I’m having Roman be Summer’s brother or Raven’s.  This... was not my intention. :p  I thought I had it spelled out pretty clear, but apparently, I screwed up somewhere.  However -and you’re going to hate me for this- I’m a enjoying everyone trying to figure it out a little to much.  So, I’m not telling you flat out.  The story will do that soon enough anyway.  However, I will tell you this:  He’s the brother of one of them, and was a friend to the other.

Honestly... I didn’t.  Truth be told, as I was writing the bot fight, it completely slipped my mind that Ozpin didn’t know about Penny.  Don’t as me how.  After re-watching volumes 2 and 3, I have no idea how I forgot something so blatantly obvious.  I only figured it out after I posted chapter 32, and people started freaking out because “Ozpin knows! Ozpin knows!” Que two weeks of me freaking out as I tried to fully understand just how world shattering this is, and I scrambled to come up with something, ANYTHING, to make it work.  But, as I watched volume 3, and listened to the whole Fall Maiden thing again, the Penny situation, with all the secrecy and such, started to make a lot more since, to the point that I truly believe that this was Ironwood’s plan.

In short, I screwed up, tried to fix it, and ended up slowly solving something that had bugged me for over a year.  Go me! ^_^

That’s it for this one.  Not sure how often I’ll put these out, but hopefully it was enough to satisfy for now.  Anyone has more questions, ask’em, and I’ll do my best to answer them.

I'll be honest, I kind of made this page and just forgot about it until now. So, guess I better fix that. Hello, I am OmegaInfinity, OI for short. Writer of the RWBY fanfic Linked in Life and Love, but also the Storm Hawks fic Stregnth in Weakness (it's not dead, I'm just focusing on LiLaL at the moment). Not quite sure what I'm going to use this page for just yet, maybe Q&A's. Or... a place for people to post fanart of the fics, maybe? Eh, we'll see what happens.
