I forgot to post some renders I did last night.

the background isn't consistent with where this would likely happen, but this is a concept for what Ludix's first time transforming would be like after whatever scuffle she had to use the emeralds in.

Considering how much energy is lost (and I thought it would be cute), Ludix passes out when she loses her Lux form since she doesn't have the super-human stamina that any of Sonic's friends do to not pass out immediately.

Mere seconds after interacting with Lilal (the fox pictured here), Ludix passes out.

Lilal is strong enough to keep her upright, but Ludix isn't necessarily light either.

I should probably add tags for characters before I get too far ahead lol

Since I'm rereading the RWBY fic Linked in Life and Love combined with the recent posts on soul mates, I honestly think that they way LiLaL handles Soul Mates is one of the best ways.

Basically, when people (faunus specifically in that fic) have been in a relationship for a while and want to become closer, they mix their auras together temporarily, which gives them insight into each others' emotions and location. And only those, at first. If they like the way of it, then they can upgrade to a permenent mixture (which can come with bonus powers 5% of the time).

So it's not as intrusive as the whole "soulmates share thoughts forever" style I'd seen years ago, but it's also not "chosen by destiny" style. The people have to choose each other and there's a while ritual for it.

And if it turns out to be a bad match, that's why the temporary step first.

"Shinigami... It's been a while since you ate me..." Yuma tried looking around for her pudgy partner. Admittedly, she missed the feeling of being caught and digested within Shinigami's flabby mass, but the death god wasn't around when she needed her. Not looking where she was going, the lilal-haired detective ended up bumping into a gigantic ball of pink flesh. Yuma did a double take.

Huge and taut, the pink, groaning mass seemed to eclipse her whole vision, dipping down to the floor and extending way up above her head, rising and falling. Angry bumps popped up along its surface; the sign of something, or somethings, stirring unquietly within. It didn't seem human at all... except for the small, shallow hole on the bottom side, a cute little reminder that this was indeed, a human gut. Yuma put her hands about the massive sphere, and heard a furtive moan all the way on the other side behind it. It was her, for sure.

"Is that you, Shinigami? How many... people are in this thing?" Yuma hesitantly patted the surface of Shinigami's car-sized cage of a belly. It seemed to grow and shrink with the squirming, panicked motions of the living food within. She figured the death god didn't have any qualms about unwilling prey, unlike herself.

"I kind of lost track around the tenth guy, to be honest..." Shinigami turned around, floating in midair, angling her impossibly stuffed gut away from the detective to get a better look at her, before turning back and pressing her belly into Yuma's. The meaty weight was impossible for Yuma to question, as Shinigami grinned from behind it, herding her to the wall.

"It just felt sooooo good... You can-HOUUUURP... feel 'em wriggling, can't you, Master?" She kept advancing upon the detective, shoving her into a corner, forcing her to confront the mountain of churning, digesting prey. "Go ahead! Feel 'em up." Now with her waist pinned and enveloped by the large mass, Yuma could feel each futile thrash, each sickening gurgle, and each horny moan... She didn't exactly have a choice.

"Rrrghh, you're lucky I feel jealous of them instead of terrified, y'know..."

First Lilal chapter since the season finale, so now I get to forgot that Ironwood is a dick in this AU, which is nice. My guess is that the team Ozpin and Ironwood are forming is gonna be called PINC, because colors and stuff.

thats so funny though bc wasnt naruto falling in love w hinata bc of a genjutsu he was put under that convinced him he loved her??? literally batshit. at least ss didnt try to fake that? they had a reasonably unreasonable conplete 180 in their relationship and didnt even try to rationalize it (minus the arguably canon novels i guess?) while nh had to bs something to even CONCEIVE it as happening in canon and lmao idk what im saying. if any het ship shoulda been canon im team narusaku all the way

not to sound like an exclusionist but if youre a man and you try to put romance in your shonen manga please just sleep and never wake up. you cant do it. your characters will forever be single. no romance subplots. tease and shit but don’t do anything. you cant do it. only women can.
