this is based on an actual conversation i had with someone. it was really funny and neither of us knew why we were doing it.

i posted this on the wrong account and now its out of order! this was supposed to go before the owl person comic since thats this person....

these were all made in succession. its kyky self reflecting on who they are and how they want to express themself outward.

in the first image you have them looking at all the choices, struggling to figure out what best encapsulates all of their feelings and how they see themself.

in the second image they are struggling with identifying as pansexual, or demisexual, when i was young i used to believe i was asexual due to my horrible fear of being gay (mom told me gay people went to hell) and it was much easier to live in denial about having ANY sexual feelings than to risk that. so as i grew i struggled with my sexuality every step of the way, eventually i came to grips with the idea i was gay, then bi, then pan, but i also found very few people...attractive, and discovering demisexual was like opening a door. i knew what i was.

the last image is kyky in their final form. demisexual, and bi-romantic (romantic being represented by their heart which i am quite proud of). normally id say pan-romantic but i use the terms interchangeably and i felt the colors looked nicer on the bi-flag so i used that. both would work for this.

i drew this back when pride month started. it was in response to all the fun rainbow stuff people were making. kyky is gunna razzle some dazzles!

personally i dont believe in conversion therapy, i think it is akin to torture and leads to many of the victims committing suicide, so it is a horrible evil thing.

but if people believe you can make someone straight, then kyky can make you gay! straight people BEWARE!

my friend from the last comic likes owls, so i made them into an owl kinda. thats supposed to be a beak.

i do not believe i am normal, but i have friends who still love me and care about my wellbeing, so i think im doing ok.

doing the dishes or any kind of menial chore can sometimes help get me out of a funk. its not easy, and it wont automatically do it, but it can sometimes help.

so this is a metaphorical kind of comic again. explaining my motivation and to help explain myself a bit more.

one of kyky’s traits is that they are supposed to always be smaller than any character around them, so panel 3 is a bit weird, but its meant to sort of explain that i am taking care of myself? that kyky as a concept is me trying to be good to myself in a way. its hard to explain.

the phrasing of it also was meant to be a sort of “if i help others they will help others too” kind of cycle, so not just kyky helping me, but it came out a bit weird. metaphors are hard XD.

behold! a rare glimpse of kykys tail~ since their profile is so weird i almost always draw them from the front so the tail is almost never shown, but there it is. in all its glory XD.

i think i tagged it wrong before, am i supposed to do it #andreandkarl ? earlier ones were tagged @andreandkarl either way this is fanart i made of one of the more adorable couples in the comic. Karl the cardinal, and Clinton the (very) fancy rat. in the comic Karl talks about wanting to be fed grapes and clinton offers to do it, i thought it was a cute interaction and that’s what inspired this picture. OH and the creator of the comic tweeting that exact phrase at a different picture i drew where Karl was hangry for grapes XD

fanart for @andreandkarl first image is just me getting excited for the new comic pages, and the second was inspired by the “im back” face in their newest comic page.  i really wanted to make something for them and since they are the inspiration for me making comics in the first place i ended up making two!

the reason Karl is hangry for grapes is their comment about being a god and being fed grapes.
