The Crew Pt. 1

Genre: Eventual Smut/Possiblr Angst in the future

A/N: Those apply to the story in general. Please be aware of that

“Holy shit! Why are you sneaking up on people like that?!” you clutched at your chest, trying to regain your breathing as you glare at the person. Jay chuckles a bit and takes a seat next to you.

“So, beautiful’ one of your friends started, ‘what’s new?” 

A soft smile graced your lips. “Not much! Work, music, the usual. I just thought it was finally time to come visit you all." They all cheered and you guys shared a laugh. 

“What about your ex? How is he?” You just sighed and rested your head against the window. Just thinking of that asshole was enough to give you a headache and the need to drown your sorrows. 

“Not here.’ you said, shaking your head. 

'If I’m gonna have to talk about that, I’m gonna need a couple of drinks first.” They all laughed again, as Paige turned back to face you, a huge grin on her face. 

“Well, that can definitely be arranged. We are taking you out to one of the hottest clubs tonight.’ her excitement growing as she tells you all about the stars that are often sighted at the club. 

“All right Paige, let’s wait till we are actually in the club so she can put a face to the ones she doesn’t already know.” You chuckled and smiled at the small pout on her face. The four of you spent the rest of the day shopping and getting caught up with each other.

 It wasn’t until around 9 that you guys got to the club, the sound of loud music, the smell of sweat and booze welcoming you as you stepped inside. You don’t normally go out to clubs, much less one's this packed, so it took you a little while to get used to the atmosphere.

“So who is supposed to be here tonight?” you asked as you sipped on your drink.

“Weeeell,’  Paige started, ‘there are supposed to be quite a few VIPs here tonight. And guess what! WE GOT ONE OF THE VIP BOXES AS WELL!!” The girls cheered excitedly as you all started making your way to your box. The VIP “boxes” were honestly more like mini rooms with half walls. As you made your way towards the rooms, you could see so many famous rappers and even a couple of idols and actresses. 

“Well,’ you grin. ‘There seems to be quite a good amount of people to possibly buy me a drink tonight~” you all laugh and get settled. While everyone else gets their stuff organized, you take a peek over the rail at the people down below notice a few that you follow on Instagram or heard of through your friends. 

"I didn't know this place was so popular with celebs?" you pointed out. “Yea! After the new owners took over, more and more celebs show up.” Jenny says as she touches us up lipstick. 

“Y/N! Let’s go down to the bar!!” she grabs your arm and pulls you back down the stairs. As you walk, there are a few eyes on you appreciating your curves and the dress you’re in. You take a seat at the bar and lean forward a little, resting your elbows onto the counter. It didn’t take long before you had 3 drinks lined up while your friends found a guy each and were busy dancing or flirting the night away.

After an hour and about 4 dance partners, you decided to head back to the booth to relax.  Once there, you happily kicked off your heels and curled up on the couch, watching your friends enjoy themselves. It feels amazing to be with your best friends after so long, their excitement and happiness bringing your mood up considerably. With a soft smile, you look around just taking a minute to observe the people in the booths around you. As you look forward, you're surprised to see Jay Fucking Park in the booth across from yours. 

Honestly, you shouldn’t really be surprised. Your friends know how much you love him and his music and they DID say that the club has been more popular with celebs recently. “Alright Y/N, lets not freak out and bring attention to ourselves. We gotta be smart with this!”. You take a few minutes to compose your thoughts before calmly looking around again, glancing at his booth as if just surveying the room. His booth is set up in the same layout as yours with the three sofas and the glass coffee table in the center. Despite the dark lighting, you could somewhat make out the other people in the booth. 

You’re lightly jolted out of your thoughts by a soft tap on your shoulder. 

“Here’s your drink Miss! Sorry for the wait.” you look at the drink in their hands, confused. “But I didn’t order a drink?” She grins and points towards the booth from before. “The gentleman at the booth over there sent it for you.” As you look over the booth again, you barely catch him staring in your direction this time with a grin on his lips he gives you a small nod. You smile back before taking a small sip, turning back to the dancefloor. To say you were surprised would be an understatement, your heart was racing and if it was any brighter anyone paying attention would be able to notice the slight tint to your cheeks.

“Is this seat taken?” you were shocked out of your thoughts by a sultry voice in your ear.

“Holy shit! Why are you sneaking up on people like that?!” you clutched at your chest, trying to regain your breathing as you glare at the person. Jay chuckles a bit and takes a seat next to you. 

“I'm sorry.' He doesn't seem as sorry as he's trying to sound but you just let it go. 'So, what’s a woman as sexy as you doing sitting here all alone?” he leans back, resting his arm along the back of your seat. 

“Oh, nothing special, just waiting for an equally sexy guy to try and make my night.” you teased.

“Oh?’ he grins, eyebrow raised in amusement, ‘did anyone catch your eyes yet?”

“Hmmm, maybe one or two~” He smirks and leans a bit closer, “Really? Point them out for me, I’ll tell you if they’re worth your time.” Honestly, you couldn't help but laugh at the look on his face. 

You lean in a bit closer to him, resting your hand on his thigh, “Hmm, you think you can guess my type?”
