Ephemeral Fragments goes on tour!

The improvising trio of Ephemeral Fragments was founded in 2019 in Essen, Germany and has been playing and recording since then. This is a short audiovisual piece I created in late 2021 for a scholarship application. All visual material was shot by me sometime in 2003-2004 using a mobile phone. I came upon these videos when Google Photos suddenly decided to show them to me. Turns out it had been archiving everything for the past 20 years or so.

Some phone videos had some sort of digital hum that ended with a thud. These sounds are also a part of the music. Other sounds are either a part of the video recording (recordings off TV screens, etc) or my designs. The "language" used is a made-up one that I created using an AI voice of a child.

And yes, this work got me the scholarship!
