I’ve been thinking about this for a while, actually.

Mephone doesn’t exist as an actual character, HOWEVER. Meeple itself is the company behind the recovery centers(also known as Melife). Just like mephones, the recovery centers are still horribly expensive and only for the rich.

Side note while we’re on this topic: Steve cobs takes the role of Wagyu’s parents. (The main reason for box’s deaths.) Along with this, Test Tube used to be one of his employees- specifically researching said recovery centers. As for Box, she still suffers the same repeated deaths- although for very different reasons. I’m still working out the details behind box’s backstory, but those are the base roles for now

Similar to Wagyu in Aimless, Box attempted to join other groups she ran into. This usually ended with her being left behind. Either because she’s not.. really all there most of the time, or because she’s pretty useless in scavenging/survival. Trophy and soap kicked her for seldom participating in anything, and generally dragging the group down. Shes trying her best..
