Happy Holidays! These are my favorite commissions from this past year. I started my website just a year ago when the pandemic started and my work as a dog walker/sitter slowed down. I feel very grateful that my clients have been so supportive of my artwork and that I’ve connected with so many people during this difficult time. Thank you always for sharing your special memories and your pet photos with me. Have a Happy New Year and hope you stay safe and healthy!

Bruin and I used to go on walks and play at the park. He got along with everyone so I think we all really missed him when he moved to Amsterdam last year. He’s an awesome little guy and I’m really happy I got to draw this special portrait of him. Miss you Bruin!

Finished a portrait of celebrity pup Toby. He is also the inspiration and director of adoptions at Toby's Rescue. I loved working on his little faux hawk and adorable smile. If you're looking to volunteer, foster or adopt, definitely check out www.tobysrescue.com

Happy news! Our foster dog will be going to her forever home next week. Monique was full of fear when she arrived from Puerto Rico to Baltimore. She was found tied up with another dog and had to survive extreme weather and abuse. She was slow to trust, but now she can’t seem to get enough affection.
We’ve made a lot of progress with house manners and crate training and our dog, Sandwich (shown on the right) has helped her feel welcome and safe. If you’re interested in adopting a dog or working with a wonderful organization in the DMV (Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia) area, check out www.tobysrescue.com

Probably my favorite pet art I’ve done so far. Boo & Sunny have the most expressive eyes! This art was commissioned as a surprise gift to a friend. Due to Covid-19 there have been some delays with shipping and this one is on it’s way to Australia from Maryland. They’re very excited with how it turned out and I’m excited for when their friend gets to finally see it.

The is a very special painting of Foz and Ruby. Ruby was a special lady who surprised and touched many lives with her kindness. She was a leader that taught communication skills and basic manners in countless classes over the years and she was also an active volunteer for Project Mickey, B-More Dog and other organizations. Although she passed away last year, the work she has done for many lives will always be with us. I will always remember your kind eyes, Ruby.

I’m kind of a perfectionist so I’ve been trying to loosen up this 2019 and jumpstart my brain by scribbling more.
I scribbled that same pomeranian I’ve been painting lately, but I spent 3-5 minutes just wandering around with my lines. I definitely encourage you to scribble because it can free you up. It helps your perspective and creativity when you can abandon what you think things should look like by allowing them to unfold instead.
