some people only see chris as a way to get buddie and disregard completely that he's a whole 14 years old with his own feelings that just got so traumatized by his father that he moved states.

eddie feels so bad about traumatizing his child that he went back to church after 20+ years, but apparently the only logical explanation for him to be back at church is because he wants to kiss his best friend.

for people who say they love those characters, they sure have a funny way of showing it.

I dunno guys, but likeeeee if you’re finding out that mutuals in your fandom spaces are going full mask off and boldly admitting they voted for fascism, perhaps ask yourself what behavior you might’ve partaken in to encourage that user to reach out and connect with you in the first place.

because the reality is if you court hateful rhetoric, even if you tell yourself it’s not that deep because “it’s just fandom!” you cannot be surprised when people decide to go full mask off around you.
