So this is from a while back but I totally forgot to give an update on this. (Tbh I forgot I had this blog) I auctually made a small Dagger to go along with the sword!

I made the dagger a few days after the pill sword because I had some materials left over so I decided to use them and make something with them.

Heres some photos of the hilt because I auctually like how it looks.

Its a lot smaller and more secure than the sword, I can swing this thing around as fast and hard as I want and I don't worry about it breaking.

Where as with the sword I'm super careful even holding it, occasionally I'll swing it around as if I was at a convention or getting photos taken and I'm always worried about the blade breaking. I've been contemplating wether or not I should get an acrylic rod or something and have it running through the entire 'blade' that way It's a bit more sturdy, but idk.

Surprisingly tho this took me only a day or two to build because I wasn't going in essentially blind like I had with the sword.

I knew how to attach the bottles together so they would be strong like; putting hot glue around the inside of the lid, making shallow cuts in the bottles top and bottom where the two bottles meet as well as, putting extra support on the outside to make sure they're secure, and how to secure bottles on the side for a hand guard.

I've also planned out a design for a pill bottle shield, so here's the base sketch of it

and here's me planning what I want the top to look like.

To be honest In the image above, I was trying to decide if I like it better with the thin bottle top or the thick ones. I think I'll just go with the thick bottles for the top.

Okay so, a while back I saw a TikTok that showed someone making a sword out of empty pill bottles. Which I thought was super cool.

So being the; mentally ill, highly medicated, running off of spite, ambition, and the incredible urge to try-and-make-something-if-I think-it's-cool-no-matter-if-I-have-prior-experience-in-the-medium-or-doing-shit-like-that type of person that I am decided: Why the fuck not, would be fun considering I have nothing but time and It would cut down on the amount of plastic my family recycles. How hard could it be?

So, first off I had to gather a fuck ton of pill bottles. So I told my mom and brother about this and basically told them "if you have any empty pill bottles don't throw them out, give them to me, I wanna do something with them." So I basically ended up with a gallon sized Ziploc bag filled with various types of pill bottles.

After I had taken the labels off of all of them and cleaned both the inside and outside thoroughly with Dawn Dishsoap(including the caps). I planned how it would roughly look but I'm going to skip showing that and instead just show some in progress photos and the finished results!

Building the sword hilt and attaching pieces with masking tape just to get a rough shape for the sword here.

After building the handle and figuring out where I want the hand guard to go.

So here is when it was still in construction but I wanted it to be able to come apart to save space. that way if I; want to bring it to a con, or I need to move it I wouldn't have to worry about the blade snapping in half, I can just break it down and chuck it in a backpack or something If I need to.

Here's the finished results

(yes I know it's not perfectly straight, I've tried going back and fixing it but I would basically have to take apart the entire blade... And I'm not doing that so sue me.)

Moutian Dew can for reference because It was what I had closet to me at the time(I was drinking it) and my water bottle was across the room lol. I was being lazy.

I would love nothing more than to find some starving artist struggling to get any attention on Tumblr, reblog 3 or 4 of their art pieces, and then learn they got bombarded with notifications from my followers because of it.

So I keep forgetting to give an update on this, but a few weeks ago I finally finished the main part of the spaceship painting I'm working on. I haven't worked on it for like 3 weeks due to school but yea here it is.

Now all I need to do is just the background. I'm happy with how it looks currently as well but I think it's going to look cool with the black and white background.

I'm going to take inspiration from TrippyDraws on YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok and do something similar to her backgrounds.

Mainly the black and white portions but still. Looks cool as it is now.

Okay, finally got access to the files I made in digital art class, and I finally backed up a bunch of the files. But anyways, here’s the final edition for my independent capstone projects.

I have named him “Duracell boi” unofficially, if anyone has a more permanent name for him feel free to put it in the tags or something.

Update on a painting I've been working on since the beginning of May(for a class project) and have been working on pretty much when I'm not doing chores.

I didnt work on it during June cause summer school and crap, but other than that I'm still working on it.

Just finished the purple and I'm going to go and work on a second layer of orange. Later on I'll back and touch up the edges on the pink and blue.

But my inspiration was to redraw an album cover by Savannah Saturn! (TrippyDraws on TikTok)

I wanted to redraw it in a style similar to hers, referencing the artwork she does. and trying to play around with the title "Open your mind" and what I associate with it.

All the art I'm going off of for the background. I'm making it in black and white with a sharpie so I'm going to try and do something similar to the black and white portions of her art.

But uh yea, just thought I should give you guys an update/ sneak peak of this and the progress I'm doing on it.

I have a sheet of paper the size of the canvas that I'm going to sketch the background design on and transfer that sketch to the canvas and do it in sharpie.

The area that looks like I killed orange and red is some paper I taped to the back so I could paint the edges and not get paint on my black desk.
