The perks of being a wallflower

I absolutely had to check how a wallflower looks like, so here you have it:

 Also a wallflower is definied as someone with an introverted personality type who will attend parties and social gatherings, but will usually distance themselves from the crowd and actively avoid being in the limelight.

In the scale from not being sad at all to making me cry it’s placed at ‘I had tears in my eyes more than once’.

I was not ready for the short book to slap so hard.

It talks a lot about abuse - physical, sexual, emotional - and responses to it, how it shapes our life.

It’s written in form of letters from 15 years old boy. The letters are made to look like they are send to us.  It makes it a lot easier to invest in the book emotionally.

Charlie writes to us about his daily live and some memories from the past. He tells us about most normal things as reading a book and telling us if he liked it.

It’s kind of hard to write about it now that I have finished the book. The last part of it changes the tone of the book a lot for me.

I just realized that it was deliberate.

The boy couldn’t tell what is wrong with him and why through most of the book and I together with him tried to figure it out. Why can’t he just be happy? And the ending gave reason to it all but also it didn’t solve things for him. He will still have to struggle with its consequences. I loved the realistic look of trauma cycle that the book had.

I liked it very much but I don’t think I will ever be ready to read it again.

 Oh, also it has gay representation and honestly it’s the sweetest guy in the book.

So about epiode 3 of classrom of the elite

I’m surprised only MC came up with getting past exam questions. Passing them between grades is so normal. They are trying a little too hard to make him out as smart.

Sudo will be thrown out of the school. Good. I don’t like him much. He’s a typical delinquent. I have no idea how he even got in this school.

I don’t get why the MC wants Sudo to stay. He didn’t seem to like him or anything.

Buying points from the teacher is a bold move.

Miss I don’t want friends is surprisingly logical in her approach on losing one student from their class. No one said it will not have other consequences. Also even if he makes a small amount of points on exams if they throw him out the class will still not get them.

No class D has advanced so they will have to be the first one. I do not even doubt it.  

It didn’t take long for miss befriend them all to show her true colors. I don’t know why the voice change surprised me but the VA did a nice job. (Yurika Kubo – I checked in case she had two VA. She had another one but only in a special episode).

He fell for that so easily. Dude you just saw her have a tantrum you should be careful.

I don’t know at this point if the MC is just so calm or if he’s panicking inside but not showing it.

I have finished watching Tokyo revenges and have gone straight to chapter 74 of the manga because it’s where the anime has ended.

I love all the boys but my current favorites are Draken, Mitsuya and Chifuyu.

Why are they all so hot after the timeskip? ( I don’t know if I should call it the present or the future T-T) Like damn, Ken Wakui knows what he’s doing.

I like that Takemichi every time has everything planned when he goes to the past and it flies right out of the window. Like it turns out okay but not how he wanted it to end. And I was thinking how tf isn’t the past Takemichi, who I assume thinks that he has memory problems where he forgets whole weeks, has not panicked and gone to see some doctor. It would actually make things easier for the adult Takemichi. Like when people notice he’s acting weird he could say that he lost his memory again.

Also I need to see teen Takemichi react to forgetting some weeks from his life and suddenly he’s the captain of a squad.

So, episode 2 of classroom of the elite

Damn, they just learned that they will be getting none points this month and they are carelessly playing in the pool.

The study session turned out to be as effective as I thought it would be XD

I get it that Miss I don’t want to make friends is mean to Miss befriend them all because their characters and goals are different but I kinda want it to turn out to be justified.

I was expecting the school president to be a bastard from Miss I don’t want to make friends reaction but trying to punch her was more than I expected. I also was surprised that he’s her brother.

MC’s fighting skills are nice and the 50 score on every test is suspicious. I think he got in the school to investigate something. Maybe someone he knows was in that school and it didn’t end well?  

How tf did they all get high scores???

And also everytime  Miss I don’t want to make friends starts her act all I can think of is this

I started classroom of the elite. I will try to post what I think after every episode. I started it because I saw some shorts with the MC and he seemed cool.

After 1 episode:

The MC is sooo awkward XD I love him.

The girl who doesn't want friends will probably become a love interest and turn out to be a tsundare. (The first I don't mind and the second I really don't want to happen)

I think the girl who wants everyone to be her friend will become a two-faced bitch. I just feel it.

I also see some inconsistency. The kids are supposed to be smart. Most of them is definitely not 😂

Oh, he didn't kill him. I love them. The teasing is so satisfying.

I'm reading 'We hunt the falme' and I thought that I like Nasir's and Altair's chemistry and now they are going together to the Sharr together.

I have a feeling that Nasir will kill him but until then I will enjoy it

I started Merlin some time ago but dropped it. It's not an amazing show. It's plot is predictable. Honestly are Camelot's only enemies magicians? I'm somewhere in season one still but basically every problem was caused by magic one way or another. And why tf are they ignoring the emotional damage? Guinevere's father dies in one episode and she's okay in the next. Merlin throws the sword in the lake and no one is searching for it in the next.

I have been complaining about it but I actually like the show. It's a good show to take my mind off the things that are happening now. I don't want an eleborate show that leaves me thinking. I want a simple show with funny moments and likeable characters. And the adventures of Merlin is just the right thing.

More seriously I'm so annoyed at Arthur. He's treating Merlin like trash. Merlin is such a good friend to him. He covers for him when he wants to get away from his duties. He cares very much for him. And Arthur's like I will die for you but refuse to treat you like a friend. He's not taking into consideration that what Merlin does is actually dangerous for him. Uther may get bored with putting Merlin in the stocks.

I'm binge watching Merlin because I'm sick.

Watching Merlin feed Arthur rat stew and then having to eat it himself was the best part of my day.

Followed with Merlin and Gaius eating bugs as a second best part of my day.

Tokyo revengers

I started watching it and here are my thoughts after 4 episodes

I started watching it only knowing that it will be about gangs, so the time travel thing caught me completely off guard. But also made it so much more interesting. (If someone wants something about time travel with angst I recommend steins gate)

Takemichi (I had to check the spelling and I’m surprised I got it right) was annoying at first but I think I will come to like him. I like Midoriya from BNHA and I’m pretty sure there will be the same amount of crying between these two.

Mikey and Draken are already my favorite

Mikey is sooo cute and scary at the same time, like how?

And Draken is so done with him. It’s hilarious.

I think it will be a five stars watch.

AAAA I forgot about Naoto! He’s great too. So serious.

And Hina is nice too. When she slapped Mikey she got my respect.
