Did Joan attended Ethel’s funeral or Jackie’s ? I have read jackie was nicer to her so
Joan attended Jackie's funeral in 1994. She did not attend Ethel's.
According to some Cape Cod residents, Joan is currently in assisted living. She's 88 and probably not in the best shape, so that's most likely the reason for her not attending Ethel's funeral.

When the private Bob stumped the party circuit, he put exciting new sparkle in the old Kennedy Magic. Here, the Kennedys croon with huge Rosey Grier of the Los Angeles Rams during a TV telethon for charity in 1968.

In front of the world, in a few short, hectic minutes which seemed to last forever -- a new beginning was brought to an abrupt and violent end now 61 years ago on this exact day marks one of the biggest what-ifs in history. labelled the death of 'american innocence', in reality is just the effect of a doomed government towards a doomed president nothing is more important than identifying and persevering both the achievements and fallouts of the figures the popular media so dearly loves. One of the biggest victims of martyr culture, oversensationalization, misinformation and the halo effect— true history is nothing without true preservation. and history is all around us
FOR IN THE FINAL ANALYSIS OUR MOST BASIC COMMON LINK IS THAT WE ALL INHABIT THIS SMALL PLANET WE ALL BREATH THE SAME AIR WE ALL CHERISH OUR CHILDREN'S FUTURE
AND WE ARE ALL MORTAL

President Kennedy turns to one of the scientists leading the program and asks, “Do you think your work here might have medical applications apart from space research? Is it possible your work might help improve oxygen chambers for premature babies?”
The scientist agrees that it very well might.
President Kennedy looks at his wife, and their eyes lock. Nothing is said, but I know they are both thinking about their baby Patrick – his recent birth and death still so fresh in their minds.

“For millions this was the breaking point. Even the tone-deaf knew there was something different about the Navy’s rendition. The Presidential march is usually a jaunty tune, played 120 beats to the minute. Now the country heard it as a dirge adagio, 86 beats to the minute, slower than a man’s heartbeat. Each soaring strain was drawn out tragically.“ -Excerpt From: Manchester, William. “The Death of a President.”
“As the notes ring out, Jackie Kennedy’s heretofore incredible public poise crumbles, her head bows beneath the mantilla of black lace, she sobs openly. It is a scene that brings a nation to its knees.” -Excerpt from: Bugliosi, Vincent. “Reclaiming History.”

Jacqueline Kennedy holds hands with brother-in-law Bobby Kennedy as she watches her husbands casket be loaded into a hearse at Andrews Air Force Base. She is still wearing her pink Chanel skirt suit covered in blood. She refused to change or wipe the remmenants saying “I want them to see what they’ve done to Jack”

“Be at peace, tempest tossed seas of soul,
Give me rest, from doubt, and fear.
Sun find my face, light find my heart,
Song find my story, smile find my face,
Be at peace, be at peace,
For my life is finite,
And these storms, have raged too long,
Even winter, must surrender spring.”

Jack and Jackie Kennedy in Texas – November 22, 1963
Every time we got off the plane that day, three times they gave me the yellow roses of Texas, but in Dallas they gave me red roses. I thought, how funny, red roses… so the seat was full of blood and red roses. Dr. Burkley later gave me back two of the red roses they had found under his shirt when they’d taken it off. Dr. Burkley brought out the two roses and said, ‘I want you to have them.’ At Bethesda I gave him back one… and Dr. Burkley said, ‘This is the greatest treasure of my life.’ – Jackie Kennedy, December 19, 1963

President Kennedy and Mrs. Kennedy greeting the crowds at Love Field Airport, Dallas, 22 November 1963.
"There was a sound of laughter; in a moment, it was no more. And so she took a ring from her finger and placed it in his hands. There was a wit in a man neither young nor old, but a wit full of an old man's wisdom and of a child's wisdom, and then, in a moment it was no more. And so she took a ring from her finger and placed it in his hands. There was a man marked with the scars of his love of country, a body active with the surge of a life far, far from spent and, in a moment, it was no more. And so she took a ring from her finger and placed it in his hands. There was a father with a little boy, a little girl and a joy of each in the other. In a moment it was no more, and so she took a ring from her finger and placed it in his hands. There was a husband who asked much and gave much, and out of the giving and the asking wove with a woman what could not be broken in life, and in a moment it was no more. And so she took a ring from her finger and placed it in his hands, and kissed him and closed the lid of a coffin."
- Senator Mike Mansfield's Eulogy for President Kennedy.
