Party hard with Asher Roth
Party hard with Asher Roth
Asher Roth live is just like the Asher Roth I had imagined. I’m so happy that Just Because brought him to Mascotte last Friday. It was the perfect start to the weekend. To the peeps who weren’t there you deffo missed a party! 🙂 Let’s start the party
At 8.20 Asher Roth came on stage. He didn’t need a support act warming up the crowd because we were ready. But let me tell you I really didn’t…

Metallica's WorldWired Tour for all the senses
Metallica’s WorldWired Tour for all the senses
When Metallica announced that they’d be playing in Zurich at Letzigrund I knew I had to try and see them. They are just Legends which you have to see at least once. Last night with their Worldwired tour they started the openair concert season with a bang. 45 000 people were coming to see their favourite band and almost all of them showed up in the right merch!
When the ticket prices were…

Mumford and Sons Delta Tour in Basel
Mumford and Sons Delta Tour in Basel
Kekoas Korner got to travel to Basel to see Mumford and Sons at St. Jakobshalle on Sunday. I’ve never been to the venue and I have never seen them live so I was pretty excited. I heard only great things about their live performances and I’ve seen them on TV a few times so I was expecting a lot. Surprisingly the stage on the Delta Tour was set in the middle of venue which I already liked. So…

Daddy Savoretti is singing to strangers around the world
Daddy Savoretti is singing to strangers around the world
A week ago I published the New Music postabout Jack Savoretti where I told you guys that I’d be so excited to see him play and I was very curious. Well fast forward a week and here we are at Volkshaus in front row waiting to see if Jack Savoretti would fullfil my expectations. But I might have been even more excited to see his support act called Ward Thomas. Ward Thomas – Voices from heaven

Ten questions for Ten Tonnes
Ten questions for Ten Tonnes
Are you a fan of indie rock? Yes? Then you’ll love Ten Tonnes. This lovely lad from England started out in pubs and slowly making his way across Europe now. Before his performance at this year’s RADAR Festival I got to speak with Ten Tonnes about his debut record, his relationship with his famous brother and Bob Ross!
I gotta ask Ten Tonnes is a super special name. I read somewhere that you…

Jack Savoretti's Singing to Strangers
Jack Savoretti’s Singing to Strangers
Jack Savoretti is a British singer-songwriter and I’ve heard a lot of good things about his live performance. Like so many I haven’t had the chance to see him live although he’s been around for ages. Lucky me he just released his 6th studio record called “Singing to Strangers” which makes him go on tour through Europe. On May 6th he is in Zurich at Volkshaus thanks to Allblues.
Jack…

New Music: Peter Doherty & the Puta Madres
New Music: Peter Doherty & the Puta Madres Read More here on Kekoas Korner
Pete(r) Doherty has been around for ages – luckily, you might say. He’s been known to live the rock’n’roll lifestyle. Ex-girlfriend Kate Moss could attest to that. He’s been buddies with Amy Winehouse as well who died 8 years ago. Now let’s talk about his music: He was part of the legendary Libertines and the lead singer of the Babyshambles.
Peter Doherty & the Puta Madres started out in…

We still love college! 🙂 10 years after Asher Roth released his debut album “Asleep in the Bread Aisle” we get to see him live at Mascotte on Friday, May 17th. So I’m expecting a frat party times 10 since it’s the start of the weekend. I hope lots of people show up and are ready to party with Asher Roth. But first things first. Let me introduce you to him:

Zurich loves Dean Lewis
Zurich loves @DeanLewismusic and @NoahKahan . Check out why in my review below:
I was super excited to see Noah Kahan and Dean Lewis on April 7th at Kaufleuten Zürich. I’ve only heard good things about both of them and I guess I wasn’t the only one. When we started queuing an hour and half before doors opened we never expected so many people already there. By the time the doors actually opened people queued around the block! I don’t think I’ve ever seen this at this venue…

KT Tunstall has been in our lives since 2004 but somehow I never managed to see her live! I am so glad that this changed yesterday. A very talented funny lovely scottish musician who puts up the best show for her fans. The last tour date of her tour brought KT Tunstall to Mascotte in Zurich and it really was a brill party to rock out to.
First up I want to say I have the best concert buddies ever!…

00s Throwback with Alien Ant Farm and P.O.D
00s Throwback with Alien Ant Farm and P.O.D
On Sunday night Goodnews Productions made it possible for Kekoas Korner to watch Alien Ant Farm and P.O.D. in Zurich at Dynamo. It was a major throwback to when MTV still played videos like Dryden Mitchell said.
I really didn’t know what to expect from this night because – obviously – it isn’t the kind of music I usually listen to. However, I was super excited to cross some more “teen years”…

Savage Night Part 2 with Declan Greene, Saarloos and Gavin James
Tumblr media
Last year in June at Amboss Rampe I got to see Declan Greene, Saarloos and Gavin James. Fast forward 8 months and Gavin James is back at Dynamo selling out an even bigger venue after playing at Energy Air and getting some major airplay time. What changed? He’s brought a whole band with him on stage.
Declan Greene

Artist2watch: Dean Lewis & Noah Kahan
Artist2watch: Dean Lewis & Noah Kahan #DeanLewis #NoahKahan #Artist2watch
Dean Lewis and Noah Kahan – Two incredible singer songwriters going on tour together! This is a must go to gig for everyone who loves a man and a guitar shows. In addition to that I think this will be your last chance to see them in a relatively small venue at Kaufleuten because both of them are rising stars and will soon fill much bigger venues.

Can you feel the Zurich Love Rudimental?
Can you feel the Zurich Love Rudimental?
Rudimental has been one of my fav artists to dance to for years. All I needed to like a party is a song by Rudimental haha From UK fans I heard that their live show is freaking amazing so when Gadget finally announced a Rudimental gig I was over the moon!
Tumblr media
I think Rudimental is one of the most underrated artists in Switzerland just like The Script. These guys fill stadiums and over here they…
