Could you give us any hints on what the storyline is going to be about in this new book? I am very happy and very excited for this new book to come out (especially cus it's coming out in my birthday month :D)
I can do one better than a hint... here's the official description:
A storm is brewing—in the skies and in Olive’s friend group. Olive is excited to reunite with Max and Bree at Camp Acorn Lake, but the buses have barely pulled away when her two closest camp friends start fighting…and it’s not just a little squabble. They refuse to speak to each other and, even worse, try to make Olive choose sides. Any attempt to smooth things over seems to aggravate them more, leaving Olive stuck in the middle. With Willow enjoying her busy activity and social schedule, Olive has no choice but to spend most of her time with unhappy first-time camper Nat. It’s far from the fun-filled, sun-filled summer she had planned. Luckily, Olive is able to distract herself with a new challenge: pitching a winning plan for improving the camp! Willow, Nat, and even the feuding Max and Bree want to help Olive make the camp a better place, but with all the drama, they’re lacking the teamwork to make the dream work. Can Olive find a way to free herself and her friends from everything that’s holding them back, or are they doomed to stay stuck in their disagreements?

are you ever planning on making any more click books? I've been loving the Series so far ^_^ and I I do kind of miss seeing Olive her friends :3
I'm glad you're enjoying the series!
You can see more of Olive and friends in my new book, Stuck, coming out in May of 2025!
You can also see them in the Besties series, which is a spin off of the Click series. The books focus on other students from Olive's class as the main characters (Beth and Chanda for the first 2 books and Trent and Sawyer will star in the 3rd)-- and Olive gets to play a supporting role.

A while back someone asked about a drawing tutorial... and now I have one to share!
This is included in the back of my new book, Break, but I thought I'd post it online too for anyone who wants some tips for drawing Olive-- or making up their own character in the Click style.

Puffy Stickers!!!
These were created as a free gift for people who bought my book Break in-store from Barnes & Noble.
I really enjoyed making these. I don't know why sticker illustrations always seem like the most fun-- Maybe because they're small? Maybe it's that special sticker energy?

My new graphic novel Break is out today! Here's a little peek inside. I picked a scene that doesn't have any spoilers for the plot and was really fun to write and draw.
Colored by Jess Lome Lettered by Lor Prescott
Here's the official description of the book:
Spring Break is full of possibilities…but not for Olive.
This year, Olive is leaving her friends and all of their exciting vacation plans behind to visit her dad at his new apartment in the city.
Goober is thrilled to spend a whole week with their father and has a long list of activities for their time together. Olive, on the other hand, still remembers the hurt of their dad moving halfway across the world. She would rather spend time with her friend Bree or scrolling through her new phone to keep up with everything she’s missing back home than catch up with him.
As the week winds on, the normally easygoing Olive finds feelings of loneliness and resentment throwing her out of whack. Is there any hope of salvaging the visit—or will Olive’s Spring Break be a Spring Bust?

Nat's grumpy. What else is new?
I love writing Nat scenes because it's just plain fun to write dialog for someone who is snarky and grumpy-- but also because she gets on Olive's nerves in a way that most other characters don't, so I can show another side of Olive's personality too.
Can't wait to show you what they're talking about eventually!

Aaaah!! I got some author copies of Break in the mail! 🤩
It’s going to be on shelves January 2nd… which is shockingly soon! Where did the year go?
Break is available for preorder from wherever you prefer to buy books, but it’s available as a signed pre-order from my local indie bookstore Oblong Books!

I have two questions! 1, will you do anything with Aunt Molly’s and Sofia’s relationship? And 2, what kind of music does Olive listen to? :)
Your first question will be answered in Break! It comes out in January, which isn't that far away, so I don't want to spoil it.
As for music, I think Olive mainly listens to upbeat music-- so different sorts of pop music, especially songs that have a good beat you could dance to and catchy lyrics. But now that she's learning to play guitar, she's been listening to some classic and indie rock as well.

Will you ever make more art regarding your Creep characters? Like for sketches/warm ups? It would ne nice to see them revamped
I've drawn them a few times since the comic went on hiatus, but I would love to draw them more frequently. I'll keep them in mind next time I have some free drawing time (which sadly is not very often lately).
Here are some drawings of Creep, Holly, and Sam from my Instagram (Kayke). I'll be sure to post here too next time I draw any of the characters!

Will you ever continue the Creep Comic of yours? I was a big fan when it came out, I miss Riley, Sam and Alex :(
I sadly don’t have the time to work on a webcomic on top of making graphic novels… but my dream would be to be some day reboot Creep as a graphic novel and tell the whole story I had planned out for the character! So far that’s just a dream, but fingers crossed. 🤞🏻✨
I miss Sam, Riley, and Alex too! They have a special place in my brain and my heart.

I want to make fanart of olive but I don't know how to draw her, Do you have a specific Guide That I could use to learn how to draw her? (Very excited for the next book by the way)
I don't have guide posted anywhere... yet! But there will be a step by step guide in the back of Break when it comes out that will show how to draw Olive and talk about creating your own characters in the Click style.
