L'Origine du monde, 1866, by Gustave Courbet. Musée d'Orsay, Paris. Personal photo. It’s really impressive to see it in the museum : all people who look at it seem utterly intimidated, in a hurry, meanwhile they look with a satisfied curiosity to the 34'567 penises dangling from whatever statue.
Visualise a very high-density bright but small sized light at the abdomen area, of your preferred colour.
It slowly gets bigger, brighter and expanding throughout your body.
It extends beyond the body.
During the whole expansion, say it OUT LOUD in your mind all the affirmations that go through in your head. Don’t think too much about it, let it naturally flow through. “I am ____” is the simplest template.
Be so bright that you feel empowered, the light and warm run throughout your body. You’re emitting the warm. The room is so bright and powerfully surround by your energy and light.
You slowly dim it down. Little by little, you bring all of it back to yourself, through your shell, through your skin, towards your abdomen.
You then release it again. Nothing too intense this time, just a soothing, bright but towards the pale (think of reflecting water?) light spread evenly throughout your body.
“I am well. I thank myself. I forgive myself. I love yourself.”
“I’d like to keep seeing your face always, eternally, so that all the strength, the liveliness, the sexuality of your face would never disappear from my eyes. I don’t know how to utter tender words, I don’t know how to speak to you so that, for a moment, you will understand how much I love you.”
