oh hello mbs fans, it must be saturday again

i DO in fact have more in the form of headcannons!!! (kind of a lot actually so more under the cut lol)

Reynie and Sticky are friends from a small village who decided that they wanted to be adventurers instead of living a somewhat boring life at home.

Sticky was hesitant to leave their town, but Reynie eventually convinced him by reassuring him that they would always stay with each other, even when times got a little rough

A few days later, the pair were walking down a forest path when they hear a commotion off in the bushes nearby

They venture further into the brush to discover Kate and Martina trying to fight off a pretty sizable pack of gnolls

Leaping into action, the boys manage to distract and injure 2 of the creatures enough for Kate and Martina to defeat them before all of them easily pick off the rest.

The two girls introduce themselves once the calm sets back in, telling Reynie and Sticky that they're on a quest to find Kate's father, who had mysteriously disappeared a few weeks ago.

After getting to know each other a bit as the sun sets, the group decides to stick together and set up camp for the night so they don't chance running into anymore enemies.

The next morning, they make their way out of the forest and go to a bustling town to replenish some supplies in the town square.

Martina says she'll get the stuff they need and lets Sticky, Kate and Reynie go off and explore the town a bit.

Seeing a store that piques his interest, Sticky leads Reynie and Kate away from town square to a quaint little trinket shop, where there seems to be no one there except for a small, hooded figure in one of the corners of the room.

The trio separates as they look around at the many baubles and knickknacks but as Kate looks around, she accidentally bumps into the hooded figure they saw when they walked in.

The person turns out to be Constance who glares at Kate as she apologizes.

As Kate goes back to looking, she notices Constance grabbing a few golden bracelets from one of the shelves and sticking them in her pocket.

Kate turns and loudly asks what she was doing, gaining the attention of Reynie and Sticky who quickly dash over to see what's going on.

Realizing she had been caught, Constance immediately tries to fight them, nearly launching herself at Kate before S.Q. comes out of seemingly nowhere and interjects, scolding Constance before he apologizes for her behavior and tells her to put the jewelry back.

He explains that the shopkeeper had bought his family sword after it had been stolen by a bandit during their travels and had refused to give it back unless he and Constance could get rid of the same bandit and his gang so they would stop harassing him. Reynie, Sticky and Kate offer their help in tracking the bandits down, which S.Q .graciously- and Constance reluctantly so- accepts.

After meeting with Martina and explaining the situation, the group spends the rest of the day figuring out how to find the bandits.

In the morning the next day, the group splits up to ask people around town if they knew where they were, they find two women named Rhonda and Number Two who tell them exactly where to find them.

Once reaching the alley Rhonda leads them to, the group gets into a fight with the awaiting bandits, who put up a pretty good fight before they're eventually hurt too much to continue and sent running by the group.

Celebrating their win at the local inn/tavern, the crew laugh and joke as they eat a hearty meal and plan to go back to the shop tomorrow to get S.Q.'s sword.

As they dine, someone at another table rises and begins to stride over.

Having seen what happened in the alley, a man referred to as Mr. Benedict approaches with Rhonda and Number Two and compliments the group on their efforts and skill.

He then offers the group a big reward for infiltrating a prestigious mercenaries guild in the next city over and bringing him information he needs to deliver to a queen in a distant kingdom.

Looking around at each other, the group all ponder the decision for a few moments before they all nod and agree with determination written on their faces.

and thus, the Adventurous Benedict Society is born! :D
