Vin Venture - One with the Mists. Here is the full version of one of my favorite characters, Vin from the Mistborn series. I’m so so proud of how she turned out, especially since this is a more of an experimental piece.

Vin Venture - One with the Mists

This has been probably one of my favorite works to date. I am a huge Brandon Sanderson fan and Mistborn is probably one of my favorite fantasy series of all time. If you haven’t read it, this is your sign because Vin is one of the coolest FMCS out there.

I restarted this painting around four times and redid the dagger around 10. I also might have changed her facial features three times. Nothing usually turns out exactly like the sketch but that’s been the beauty of the painting journey - you never know exactly how it’ll turn out but you hope for the best.
