"Thanks," Kaito spoke, then was intrigued by the mention of Meredy. "Meredy? What an interesting pairing."

His curiosity aside, he was sure Mira would keep him updated. "I'll be training at Mount Hakobe if you or anyone needs me, I'll see you later," Kaito said, giving Mira a quick kiss before leaving the guild.

New OC: Lucas ‘Luke’ Heartfilia

Future AU: The son on Loke and Lucy, Luke travels to the past (to the time of 100 Year Quest) using the Eclipse Gate, warning about his doomed future timeline. He has inherited Loke’s Regulas/light magic, pretty much like a Celestial Spirit without the drawbacks, who can be summoned too via an item (like a ring) he has gifted someone he has bonded with. He has the potential to use Star Suits (can train with a past/present Lucy to learn/master this) which works similarly to Lucy’s Star Dresses.

“Is that so? That’s good, I’m glad that he’s fitting in with them,” Kaito replied, though part of him hoped Chase wasn’t also dragged into Natsu and team’s shenanigans by association.

“Well I’m just curious about the extent of his powers, but I don’t want to be too forward or obvious about it, like asking him for a spar,” the Ice Dragon Slayer admitted. He was sometimes quite socially awkward, especially with newcomers, but he meant well.

“So could you set me up with a job with Chase? You can add Gray into the mix too if there is room for it,” he requested of Mira. As the person he thought was closeted with organising the job board, Kaito thought she could do him that favour. It was obvious that Kaito could do with more friends, especially guy friends.

“Thanks,” Kaito replied gratefully, trying to minimize his reactions to the pain from the treatment. He focused on how incredible the first aid was working, and though he expected it to be a painful treatment, it was not his way to question the specifics. “As long as it works, I’m fine with however painful it is.”

Kaito put on a brave face as he prepared for the stitching later, but was pleasantly surprised at the numbing. “Incredible,” he commented, looking at his recovering arm. Honestly at the rate this went, it might even be in better condition than before.

“Knowing the difficulty and danger with such S class jobs, it would be nice if Kaito actually teamed up with other people besides myself. I can only assist so much on my own, and even then Kaito likes to go rogue solo on me.”

Shiro had taken the chance to complain more about Kaito in front of these strangers, in a hopeful attempt that Kaito might actually be so embarrassed he would miraculously change his behaviour so not have to do this again in the future.

That aside, the Exceed’s mood picked up as he took Aqua’s offer to play with her some more until Adelha’s return. “Fruit punch for me, and iced tea for Kaito, please. The hospitality here is definitely on a whole other level, I honestly feel bad we aren’t even paying for any of this!” Shiro replied happily.

“We would be willing to pay though,” Kaito added. They did get a large sum of jewels for that S Class quest anyway, and from his point of view, it was payment for causing them trouble on such short notice.

(Previous thread is of Shiro bringing Kaito to Adelha's Apothecaries for healing after a mission gone FUBAR. Matvei and Erlik are on call to help with the ice bath for a stubborn Kaito. Aqua is happy to meet Shiro as the Currier twins see to their guests) Am setting the stage for my own brain to keep track

Matvei snickers with evident amusement to open the first aide kit. Plucking up a purple bottle within the kit to shake it a few times. The potent sensation of magic wafting from the cork of the bottle before Matvei pops the cork off. Soon gently pouring a shimmering amethyst liquid over the cut on Kaito's arm. Which starts to sting like good bourbon to soak into the cut and start neutralizing the toxic in the mage's arm. But there is a rather odd black wisp of smoke pouring slowly from the cut for Matvei to wince. "Yep. S Ranked Missions means poisons and curses aplenty. Figured that was the case. Just stay still and let the cleansing magic in liquid form do it's job."

Erlik flinches at the sight to sigh as Aqua waves her paws at Shiro to hopefully get some extra play time with the adorable little Exceed. While Erlik frowns to speak his mind openly. "Don't ask what is in it. Just be glad that stuff works for almost anything. Think of the discomfort as the price of getting fully recovered from whatever poison would have ruined your veins." Matvei soon gets out the needle and thread to start carefully stitching the cut closed with practiced ease. As if he's done this thousands of times before. The needle actually numbing the skin on Kaito's arm so he doesn't feel any pain from the sewing. "These stitches will react to your magic and fade once the cut is completely gone. We know a certain someone that weaves enchanted thread for such things. So by the time your Guild Master has the chance to take a peek, he won't find anything."

Erlik nods for him to turn his head when the apothecary of the establishment walks up to check on the patient. Her long green dress swishing as she moves for Shiro to scent lavender and ocean spray. As well as Dragon. Not Dragon Slayer like Kaito. But an actual Dragon. Yet Adelha simply looks to Shiro to smile at him with warmth. Her gloved hand soon reaching up to very gently pat the Exceed on the head. "I see our guests are doing all right. To think such a powerful looking tiger would also be a gentle angel. Salmon and red snapper is on the menu today. We may also add shrimp to the menu as well as crab. We learned from previous visits that Fairies have big appetites. Especially young Dragon Slayers. Shiro? Do you like iced tea or fruit punch with your sushi?"

Juvia: Kaito fights Juvia (instead of Gray) during the Phantom Lord War - or (my) Gray introduces Kaito when they go on a job together - first meet at the Battle of Fairy Tail

Levy: bonding over books, Kaito finds her after Gajeel attacks Team Shadow Gear + (my) Gajeel takes a more antagonistic role, even joining Raven Tail for real

Evergreen: they work together during Laxus’ battle of Fairy Tail Mira: Kaito (from torturing Elfman) is the one that triggers her Satan Soul

Erza: Kaito is from the Tower of Heaven and joins Fairy Tail with her later + fights Erza, siding with Laxus during the Battle of Fairy Tail

Wendy: shares a wind affinity with their magic, and has a close sibling bond

Going to try and revive the blog (once again) with Kaito’s birthday coming up on the 10th, especially with the Fairy Tail anime being back on the 7th. If we interacted/plotted before, I am happy to continue/restart things, especially when it comes to bonds/ships, just let me know!

I also want to introduce a new world (like Edolas) for Kaito (and my other OCs) to world build, just my own spin on FT’s magic in a modern/futuristic world that will be exclusive for this blog, and open for being requested (like RPed over Discord) once I get enough info out, thanks!
