i LLOVE star trek sm it genuinely is my fave ever i love it it is so fun and so sad too i love it i love spock and uhura and dr mccoy and spirk and everything about star trek it makes me feel so less lonely when im alone

one of my fav hcs is that spocks sleeping positions are fucking insane.

hell fall asleep spooning jim and wake up at the edge of the bed, arms and legs dangling, bed sheets out of place (he kicked them off somehow), blanket on the floor (if hes sleeping in his room where he keeps the temp. a lil on the higher end, hell overheat and throw the blankets away. if hes sleeping in jims quaters, hell steal the blankets for himself).

all that while jim still in the same position he fell asleep (hell complain abt his joints hurting during breakfast)

spock wakes up stirring like a cat and immediately sits up as if he doesnt know where or who he is or as if its his first time waking up (hes an adult man). jim wakes up without moving, just opening his eyes, looks around for a bit and then stirs (its a bit freaky)

scratches head dont flame me for this but sometimes i kinda......hate the star trek worldbuilding (this is tos. we're in tos territory) cause they want soooo bad for me to believe that earth is past internal conflict and the federation promotes a classless society and no ones opressed anymore and we dont even use currency! and we aint even colonizers and definitely not a militarized force. far from it, actually. thats like, earths bloody past. we are not Them. but like... i dont know, dude. it wants me to believe in this incredible utopia without touching on the nasty stuff. and that just falls flat in on itself BECAUSE its a 60s show. because it was made during the cold war. and above all else, because its an us show, to us citizens. and gene roddenberry was a fucking cunt.

What does the bill do?

The bill that passed bans same-sex marriages, adoptions by same-sex couples, and gender affirming care. It also outlaws pride events, lgbt books, movies, and pride flags.

the COOLEST thing ive ever made was prolly a vulcano from ripped newspaper that i painted with a huge ass tube of brown paint that could erupt forreals when i was like 12 ☝️ was the coolest kid in class for two weeks
