South Asian/Desi Private Group Blog

Hey guys! 

A lot of universities where I’m from have confession pages on Facebook, Instagram, etc. I’m also part of a bunch of “subtle _____ traits” groups on Facebook.

I thought it would be interesting to make a private group blog called Lo, Girgayi Chai.

For those of you that don’t speak Urdu/Hindi/Punjabi, “lo, girgayi chai” can be translated to “oof, the chai’s spilled”. What a mood, am I right?

The blog is a place where South Asians/Desis (and anyone else interested in or unfamiliar with our cultures!) can interact with each other in a safe, respectable environment to discuss things. It could be anything from crushes on Bollywood stars, something funny they saw in Pakistan, funny things their parents say, school problems, family problems, etc. This blog is also a place for people to talk about things they might not be completely comfortable talking about on their blog, or with other users. You’ll be able to ask questions, ask for advice, rant, confess, discuss, etc. 

The blog is password protected so only people who have the password and I give access to can join it. If you want to join the group, message me on this blog! :)

Here are the rules below. If you think you can follow them, feel free to message me. If you don’t think you can, maybe think twice?
