I'm alive! I found myself taking an unintentional 'mental health' hiatus from social media after graduating. I felt paralyzed in time as days started to pass me. The pace of social media felt unnatural to keep up with, I didn't want to 'fake' it. Life can make you lose control over motivation. It has the power to deplete my passions, to make me feel numb in my efforts. Various events and personal issues left places and things I once loved feeling hollow. I couldn't bring myself to draw up until a few days ago. I didn't know if I should write about this, if this were the right space for it. But then I decided that I would - to tell the truth for anyone that can relate or wants to know. For anyone feeling struggle, know that a friend is always there even in times of isolation and desperation. Always. #wehaveeachother#katejoyart
