I wish more people knew eds are not just about starving. I ate fried chicken my mom bought yesterday night after not eating all day at work, and I’m still feeling guilty about it 24 hours later. It is the guilt of everything that is killing me. We feel like a failure even though we’re actively going against our bodies’ instincts.

your weight fluctuates a lot more than it does on non-menstrual days. i tested this out today n compared it to another day. my weight varied between FIVE pounds within one day. on a normal day, it’s about a pound or two of fluctuation.
remember that every person’s body is different. it may be less or more than what i’ve said. but for us ana/rexie people who have a period, these days can be upsetting if we see the weight changing vigorously.
so just a little reminder that your period weight is not your actual weight!

The easiest way to ⭐ is just to stop making it a bigger deal than it is. (This is a reminder to myself lol <3)
Stop thinking about food constantly, about what your next meal should be. Stop watching mukbangs and wl videos and thinspo. Stop reminding your brain that food exists, instead shut out any thoughts about food/ed. Just replace it immediately, don't even let your brain process the fact that it needs food.
Stop going to places that have food, stop going to stores, stop going to buy "just one thing" and then walking back with that one thing and two packs of chips and instant noodles. Stop using food as an excuse to hangout/justifying eating food to talk with your friends, you can talk to them after they finish eating.
Food will always exist, it will never suddenly disappear. If you truly feel like you're starving, you're dizzy and have bad headaches then get yourself some food. But not the low quality shit that won't fill you up, eat a proper healthy meal at these times even if it's slightly higher in calories. Food is fuel, nothing more nothing less.

some days food literally disgusts me, I get nauseous even thinking about it, I loathe it so much that I cannot imagine myself eating ever again for the rest of my life
