Hi, I was born out of nowhere in Gaza and I'm trying to connect with people who will help me get my story out on Tumblr.🍉

I am engineer Walid Al-Qatrawi. I am 34 years old. Father to Adam, Hala, and Nay. I have lived in the Gaza Strip since I was born.

My wife and I are also eagerly awaiting the arrival of our daughter, but due to the harsh realities of war in our area, we are facing severe financial difficulties.

I’m fully aware I don’t have many followers on my page, probably only a few hundred. So I’m also fully aware this might not reach a lot of people but I also believe in the morals, I was taught growing up in a very political punk community and the ideologies I still live with an adult who still considers them self pretty damn punk. 

I believe in helping your community. I believe in helping others and being kind to others whether that’s dominating coats during winter, participating in local can drives, helping with harm reduction or whatever other things you can do to not only help, but to hold up others in their time of need.

The people of Gaza are one of those groups that are in need now and have been since early October of 2023. They have been bombed daily since the beginning of the war, this has affected their water and food. Most lack electricity, shelter, new clothing, medical supplies,female sanitary supplies, hygiene products and other very basic needs.

The horrors that the people in Gaza are going through right now where it’s the mass loss of life, the loss of community, the loss of basic needs and education. No one should ever suffer through something like that, that’s why it’s important for outside help. Whether that’s boycotting or donation or spreading mass information online through the censorship of what’s happening it is important to help the Palestinian people. 

There are lists online for boycotting brands that have donating to aiding in what’s happening. If it is within your means, stop shopping from them.

There are currently fast food places that have donated to aiding what is happening, eat somewhere else.

There are make up brands that are supporting the ongoing genocide, buy another lipstick, get a different eyeshadow, palette.

Boycotting is another way you could show your support for the people of Palestine, but if you have the means, donate. even if it is only a few dollars. $5 bucks is still money. If you cant, spread the post around, maybe it will land on someone’s feed who can. There are a ton of ways we can help the Palestinian people.

Donating,boycotting,spreading correct info around, spreading donating links, writting to your government officials. Help the ways you can. Thank you for reading.
