I tried my hands on a miniature pop-up inside a locket charm. A very simple one, but I am pleased with this. I also tried to make a fitting crepe cherry blossom, but I only got white paper.

I also did a very very small drawing. The frame is 7.5cm x 5.5cm small. The picture is 3.5cm x 5cm. And super small flowers cause I tried several of them, to test out just how small I can make them.

Mermay No 01, 02 & 03.

Those are my fishboys so far.

I like these mythical creatures half human half fish quite the most of all mythical creatures, followed by werewolves and vampires. I love the thought of beings who look very alluring, humanlike, but in fact aren't human at all. And I love everything maritime even thought I still have not learned how to swim on my own. (It suffices to just look at the water I will never set foot inside. XD) Besides Fish and Birds give beautiful motifs for swift dynamic sketches.

I like my mers to be fish not mammals, so in short I just call all of them simply "fish" instead of mermaid for gender equality of my boys. But Mermay is a pretty gender neutral term.So I like it.

Furthermore for merfolk I like to go with greek terms. (If people generally use Siren, then I can go with other terms too xD)

There are diffrent types of water associated nymphs:

- Nereides = sea nymphs

-Oceanides = (large group of nymphs for clouds, breezes, flowers, later associated with maritime deities)

-Naiads = freshwater sources -> Pegaiai = spring nymphs -> Krenaiai = fountain nymphs -> Potameides = river and stream nymphs -> Limnades = lake nymphs -> Heleionomai = marsh and wetland nymphs

Generally Nymphs are depicted as young beautiful women complete in human appearance, but why not go a bit more fishy, and gender equal, cause everyone is free to use artistic freedom.

Some artists depicted nymphs with one or two more serpentine like tails with fins. Scaily, yes, fishy, not so much anatomy wise. But that's part of the fun.

What I love about seafolks: everyone is free to draw them in any way they want, cause the underwater vertebrae and non-vertebrae are so varied and beautiful~♡

Btw the filed in Watercolour palette of my small sketchbook. Made of pill packaging at top and the heart shaped packaging for some heart shaped pins, filled the holes with hot glue. The heart trays are about two millimeters deep but wide enough and look adorable cool. Everything is hold down with patafix.

My bigger Sketchbook got the same system of palette, paper, pens and pencils. Just with bigger rings and a bigger faux leather cover.

My smallest sketchbook for the times when I only go out with a belt bag. It got the most essential things: about 30sheets of paper (8x12cm), a super fine ballpoint pen, a thin filed in watercolour palette other than the one shown and a water brush. The Palette up there it a Muji Buisinesscard box with pill packaging and my favourite warm grey and rosé colours of mostly watercolour pencils(only the leads) and 4 watercolours. Quite the Sakura Palette. I tend to always reverd to these boys when I'm doodling around or do some warm up sketches. He and his doppelgangers are everywhere in my notes.xD

Small Birdy Letter Boy. Started with too much red on my brush I didn't want to waste. Ended with a simple ConHon entry (first in a looong time of ConHon abstinence). Wanna give him a Story but no Idea for now. He's no swallow.

I didn't put up much on social media lately. So here are some doodles and drawings I like.

Two themes: Mermaids (well rather mermales) and Red Riding Hood.

I did not participate in Mermay but I got quite motivated by SillyJellie's Mermay drawings( here ) to get some fish to paper. Her way of drawing water with just lines and colour inspired me. It's a beautiful way to draw that medium.

I also found the Webcomic Vermelho by SaraDeek ( here ) and this is HEAVEN!!!! I love everything twisted RedRidingHood and this one got guys so much to my taste!

Last One is another Fish. I've been out with a friend of mine today and it's so damn hot but I've got a Melon Cream Soda and didn't know what to scribble. So drew the glass and nothing else came to mind to put in...

All of them done in ballpoint pen and watercolours.

I found a beautiful way to set the resin cabochons~

and I’d say this lace ribbon fits the diffrent forms beautifully(I just wrapped it around).

So I tested it with two of my test Cabochons. Though the wire is so very thin it does not hold the cabochon inside on it’s own but that’s fixed with a thin layer of superglue.

Ein weiteres Fischpräparat, welches ich gemacht habe. Ursprünglich sollte er in eine winzige Flasche, allerdings war er doch zu groß also steckte ich ihn in dieses Glas.

Ich hab dieses Medallion neulich gekauft und war neugierig, ob ich etwas machen kann um es zu füllen. Desshalb gibt es hier meinen üblichen Jungen.

Die kleinste bewegliche Papiergliederpuppe, die ich je gemacht habe. Die Gelenke sind einfach mit Garn zusammen gefunden, indem auf beiden Seiten ein Knoten geknotet wurde.

Kleider in dieser Größe sind immernoch unmöglich sofern sie nicjt von anfang an gezeichnet sind.>_>" Er bekam nen Rock, weil es für eine Hose zu spät war xD

I bought this locket the other day and was curious if I can make something to fill it. So here is my generetic boy.

The smallest articulated paperdoll I've ever made. The joints are simply made by getting a thread through the paper and knoting it on both sides.

Clothes in that size is still... Not possible if it's not drawn from the start. >_>" He got a skirt cause it was to late for trousers. xD

Hab mich daran versucht ein paar Papierfiguren in Resin einzugießen um Papier, Versiegelungen, und meine neuen Formen auszuprobieren.

Ich mag die Ergebnisse wiiirklich sehr und die Edelsteinformen sind tiefer als erwartet~

Definitiv etwas an dem ich dran bleiben möchte.

Tried out to cast some random paperfigures in resin to test out papers and sealings/non sealed paper amd to try out my mold.

I reaaally like the results and the gem molds are deeper than I thought~

Definitely somethingI want to work with in future.

Happy Valentines Day

Mein Valentins Beitrag.

Diese kleine "Schwalbe" war Teil einiger Designs von armlosoen chibis mit Umhängen und in diesem Style von reduzierten Gesichtszuügen. Ich mag sein Design sehr und spielte mit den gängigen Themes für Schwalben, Liebe(sbriefen), einem recht romantischen Bobcut und den Farben von europäischen Rauchschwalben herum. Irgendwie stehen diese ganzen Dinge für mich für fränzösische Liebessymbolik. Aber Hirondelle ist ein so schöner Name wie er ein schöne Begriffsbezeichnung für Schwalben ist.

Cute fact: auf dem Stempel den ich nutzte steht 14. Februar drauf. XD

My Valentines Day contribution.

This little "swallow" was part of some designs of armless cloaked chibis in that facial very reduced style. I really loved it’s design. Playing around with etablished themes of swallows, love(letters), a quite romantic bobcut and the colours of a european swallow. Somehow, for me, all those things are linked to french love symbolism. But Hirondelle is a beautiful name as it is a beautiful term for swallows.

Cute fact: the stamp I used for the stand is dated 14th February. XD

Präparat Nr.003 ist wieder ein Fischjunge.

Diesmal habe ich einen Glitzernagellack + einen matten Topcoat ausprobiert und der effect ist genau der, sen ich mir erhofft hatte (nä mlich den Glanz aus dem Lack zu nehmen uns nurnden Glanz in den Partikeln zu lassen).

Dieser Fish hat eine zweite Schicht Haare und ist schwarz/weiß themed. Ich liebe diese kleine Schleife!!

Ursprünglich wollte ich ihn mit Blumen passend in seiner Größe dekorieren aber leider bin ich noch nicht in der Lage SO kleine Blumen herzustellen.

Zu schade, dass die Pracht seiner Flossen im Röhrchen kaum zu sehen ist.V_v

Specimen No.003 is a fishboy again.

This time I tried out glitter nail laquer together with a matte top coat and the effect is exactlylike I wanted it(taking away the shiny gloss of the laquer , leaving only the specks to shine).

That one got a 2nd layer of long hair and is Black and white themed. I love that little bow!!

Initially I wanted to decorate him with tiny flowers but I'm still not able to make flowers THAT small V_v

To bad the beauty of the fins is not really visible inside the vial.

Preciously TINY!!!

Das zweite Präparat ist ein Schmetterling. Die Vorstellung einer kreativeren Nutzung herkömmlicher Photoschlüsselanhänger begeisterte mich. Mit dieser rechteckigen, flachen Form eignen sie sich gut für Präparate in Boxen, Dingen in Setzkästen und Herbarienseiten. Auch wenn ich das Etikett aus Platzgründen umdrehen musste.

The second specimen is a butterfly. The idea of getting a more creative use of regular photo keycharms thrilled me. With that rectangular flat shape it suits boxed specimen, things in typecases and herbarium pages well. Though I had to turn the label around because of the small space.

Nach den ersten zwei Versuchen und dem entdecken von Reagenzglas-und Glasröhrchenanhängern musste ich unbedingt einen Fisch dafür ausprobieren. Meerjünglinge sind eh eine Leidenschaft von mir xD

Ich liebe die Ästhetik von Präparaten, Setzkästen und historischen Sammlung und bin stark am Überlegen mehr davon zu machen.

Präparat No.001 ist also dieser Fisch.

Es war nicht gerade einfach ihn da reinzuquetschen. Die volle Pracht der Flossen sieht man so natürlich auch nicht mehr. Aber das tut man eh nie in so einem Behälter.

(Die Seitenansicht mit den Flossen sieht fast aus wie ein normaler getrockneter Fisch :D)

After the initial trials and finding glass vial and glass tube pendants I needed to try out a fish. Merboys are a passion of nine after all xD

I adore the aethetics of preserved specimen, typecases and historical collections and think about doing more of these.

Specimen no.001 is this fish.

It was a bit difficult to squeeze him in there. The whole beauty of his fins also is invisible that way, but thats always the case in tubes like these.

(It nearly looks like a regular dried fish with these fins from the side :D)

Ich hab mich an einen 2Dpapier Anhänger für eine gute Freundin gemacht mit ihrem wunderschönen OC Valentin~~(https://www.animexx.de/doujinshi/zeichner/122038/45557/)

Er ist diesmal doppelseitig gearbeitet und ist auf einer Papierblume befestigt.

Der Anhänger hängt an einem Metalllesezeichen, aber ich glaube nicht dass es ein gutes Lesezeichen auf die Art abgibt. Trotzdem fand ich die Idee schön und hab's durchgezogen. Ich musste allerdings die Metalparts und Perlen am Anhänger mit goldenem Nagellack lackieren (da sie silver waren).

Hat echt spaß gemacht hier dran zu arbeiten.

Hab auch eine Sternförmige Box zum verschicken gefunden.

I made a 2D paper art pendant for a dear friend of mine showing her beautiful OC Valentin~~ He has two sides and is mounted on a paper flower.

It's hung on a metal bookmark hook. I guess it's to big to actually use it as a bookmark but I like the idea none the less so I go for it. I just had to recolour the metalparts of the pendant and pearls with golden nail polish (for being silver).

I really loved working on this one.

Found a cute starshaped box to send it to my friend.~~

In letzterZeit wollte ich mich an eine Idee, die ich schon länger hatte, für ein paar Anhänger wagen. Ich liebe 2D paper art in 3D Umgebungen; also warum nicht solche in einen dieser Glassanhänger stecken? So habe es ich mit diesem einseitigen gezeichneten Engel ausprobiert. Etwas auf DER größe zu zeichnen erfordert einiges an Konzentration und gutes Licht.

Laletly I tried to make some pendants I had in mind. I love 2D paper art in 3D enviroments; so why not putting them in those hollow glass pendants? So I started with this onesided angel boy as a trial pendant.Drawing THIS SMALL is quite hard and requires a lot of concentration and good light.

(It really is 2dimensional)
