Was supposed to play Magic: the Gathering today, but once it came time to leave my body just got insanely tired and didn't want to move.

Turns out, not many people went anyways. So I got plenty of rest. My sleep schedule is so messed up.

My gf has it even worse. I thought I was bad at sleeping when I really shouldn't, but she is just as likely to sleep if we're not doing anything.

Need to stick to a schedule better in the future....

Best bud is a lawyer, and also quite a beef cake that you don't want angry. So this was a fitting drawing i did for him.

Made this for my gf. She loves zebras. Pencil outline and then just Sharpe marker over everything.

Finally got around to making a picture for myself and my buds. Done through photoshop, then printed off at office depot, and finally went around the outlines with Sharpe marker to get rid of the pixel look.

I'm gonna start using this as a place to put my thoughts and feelings down since I doubt no one sees this.

I've been working at a job for over 7 years now and I'm starting a new position next Monday. Well, new as in transitioning from a different position. I've had the position before, but for far less pay. I'm going back because now I'll get a significant raise.

My position is fairly easy, but physically demanding. That doesn't bother me. What bothers me is the job I left would've been dope to stay in, but nothing was going on the right direction due to forces out of my control.

My projects were redundant and made no sense. There was a teammate that was clearly not pulling her weight compared to everyone else. My immediate supervisor wasn't doing anything about it, because he didn't see the implications that I was seeing and that i have expressed to him. If that is the base level of employee he is willing to hire, simply because we get our projects done without her help it's fine, in not okay with that. She is getting paid just under my own wage and she just started last year due to wage adjustments.

TL;DR

Going back to a previous position for pay raise and want being valued anymore in previous position.

From one of my favorite manga, Fuuka. If you havent read it, I highly recommend. It's a romantic comedy based around a teenage rock band. It really got me through some bad times and took my mind off of the things around me.
