Where To Buy The Air Jordan 4 “Lightning”
Rumored at various points over the last 15 years, the Air Jordan 4 “Lightning” is finally set to retro for the first time ever on August 28th.
First released in the mid-2000s, the upcoming colorway was among the Air Jordan line’s earliest departures from #23’s professional sports career. Drawing inspiration from the “Black Cat’s” love for motorsports, the predominantly-“Tour Yellow” proposition launched alongside a “Thunder” counterpart that featured the aforementioned yellow simply as a complementary tone. And while the mostly-“Black” pair last saw the light of day in 2012, the more vibrant shoe of the duo had remained a rumor for over a decade. The Jumpman-at-the-heel-donning Jordan 4 will surely be a welcomed addition to collections everywhere, especially with those of enthusiasts who’ve never felt comfortable – or couldn’t – paying hundreds over the original $250 USD retail price.
Enjoy detailed images of the vibrant style here below, and anticipate pairs for the whole family to hit Nike SNKRS on August 28th.
Air Jordan 4 "2021 Lightning" Release Date: Aug 28th, 2021 (Saturday) Color: Tour Yellow/White/Dark Blue Grey Mens: $220 Style Code: CT8527-700

Take a First Look at the Air Jordan 4 "Military Black"
Following a “Military Blue” Golf iteration revealed last month, a new Air Jordan 4 “Military Black” has been teased by Sneaker Files for next year’s Spring/Summer lineup.
The initial mockups depict smooth white leather uppers with matching mesh accents. Black detailing is found on the eyelets and heel tab, and light grey can be seen on the extended mudguard, lateral wings and insole lining. Jumpman logos are found adorning the tongue patch, and heel counter, and a black and white midsole and grey outsole below completes the classic look.
The Air Jordan 4 “Military Black” is slated to release next summer on Nike’s website and select retailers.

Off-White x Air Jordan 4 “Bred” Not Releasing To Public, Jordan Brand Confirms
In the Summer of 2019, Virgil Abloh teamed up with Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art for a full-blown exhibition showcasing the multi-faceted creative’s contribution to music, fashion, and footwear. Sneakerheads were given an unprecedented treat with a complete spread of Off-White x Nike samples that he worked on over the years, with several standouts sparking hype and exciting for the future years of the Off-White x Nike partnership.
One such sneaker was the Off-White x Air Jordan 4 in the iconic “Bred” colorway. Virgil distinct interpretation of the shoe is highlighted by transparent layers and materials, exemplified by the women’s Off-White Jordan 4 “Sail”. There was hope that this black/red rendition would eventually release to the public, and the rumor mill went wild. The sneaker was among the photographed objects of the exhibition – this one captured by Bernie Gross of Extra Butter.
A recent statement from Jordan Brand given to Complex confirms that the Off-White Jordan 4 “Bred” sample was made just for the exhibition at MCA Chicago and currently has no plans to release to the public. In hindsight, it’s clear that Virgil just wanted to share himself with the world as much as possible as he quietly battled an illness that would ultimately take his life late in 2021.
Nike has neither confirmed nor denied future releases of Off-White Nike footwear (such as the Off-White Air Force 1 Mid and Off-White Blazer Low), but we are hopeful the brand will take proper measures to honor the lasting legacy built by Virgil in such a short time.

Aleali May’s Father Inspired Her Air Jordan 4 “Veterans Day” PE
Since releasing her first official Air Jordan collaboration in October 2017, Aleali May has been weaving personal messages, causes and stories into her collaborative footwear. The latest example arrives via a Friends & Family-exclusive Air Jordan 4 inspired by her father’s time in the U.S. military.
Predominantly crafted from ballistic nylon, the pair is replete with desert-appropriate camouflage patterns across the upper. Unlike some retros that’ve releases in the past few years, the not-for-retail Jordan 4 “Veterans Day” keeps its standard mesh construction throughout the tongue and at the profile windows. “Flight” branding on the top of the tongue is replaced with velcro patches nodding to Mr. May’s service in Desert Storm, and time on Fort Carson, CO. The sole unit rounds out the retro’s understated arrangement by also opting for a sand-like color across midsole and outsole components.

Air Jordan 4 "Blank Canvas" Officially Unveiled: Photos
One of the greatest Jumpman sneakers ever made was the Air Jordan 4. This is a model that has seen a lot of fantastic colorways over the years, and in more recent times, Jordan Brand has been committed to creating some colorways for women. The women's exclusives have arguably been better than the men's shoes over the past couple of years, and if you're a woman sneakerhead, this should be nothing but music to your ears.
The latest women's exclusive Air Jordan 4 can be found in the official images below. This new model is being called "Blank Canvas," and it definitely lives up to its name. The entire upper is made with a canvas material that contains a mixture of white and beige tones. These elements are then complemented by paint splatter on the outsole. The colors represented here are blue, red, and yellow, which makes for a truly unique shoe. What's nice is that the paint splatter can be seen from the side profile, which adds a slight dash of color.
A release date has not yet been determined for these, so keep it locked to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest updates from the sneaker world. In the meantime, let us know what you think, in the comments down below.

Early Look at the Air Jordan 4 "Infrared 23"
The Air Jordan 4 had quite the exciting year in 2021 as it finally released a retro of its sought-after “Lightning” colorway, dropped in collaborative form with Union LA and launched popular GR iterations such as the “Tech White” variant. However, it seems as though the Tinker-designed silhouette has intentions of carrying over this momentum into 2022 with even more offerings, one of which is this Air Jordan 4 “Infrared 23.”
A majority of the real estate here is reliant on grayscale colors to take care of most of the real estate, which allows its titular pops of color to stand out overtly. Most of the base layer is designed with a “Dark Grey” nubuck while notes of solid black follow suit on the cages, netting, laces, interior lining and the heel counters. From there, shades of “Cement Grey” and “Infrared 23” play supporting roles, the former being the one to touch the forefoot overlays and Jumpman logos on the heels while the latter decorates the eyelets, Jumpman insignias on the tongues and the interior of the tongues. Midsole molds are designed with black and white color-blocking and come stacked above grey soles.
Early reports have these scheduled for a February 5 release for $190 USD, but SNKRS has yet to confirm this.
