Around 50 brave souls took part in the East Neuk Dook by jumping into Anstruther Harbour this Boxing Day. It'll have been warmer in the water than out with the air temp 3°C and the biting wind making that feel like -3°C! Great care was taken with loads of support from the local RNLI lifeboat team both in and on the water. Some people are so kind and generous... I went for a walk, bumped into the local Wild Skins swimmers after their dook and ended up being showered with home made jam, shortbread, coconut bites and tablet (that's a kind of hard fudge for the non Scots out there) by a woman from Stirling who I'd never met before.
