THE OFFICIAL ‘JOURNEY JUNE’ EXPANDED PROMPT LIST
REBLOG.SHARE.ENJOY!
#JourneyJune is different than other monthly art challenges.
It’s loosely based on The Hero’s Journey formula. One of the simplest and most famous templates for storytelling.
#JourneyJune specifically deals with getting artists in the habit of creating a narrative and maintaining style consistency throughout their story. If you’re striving to one day make your own stories but haven’t done anything yet - this is the perfect start!
We’ll give you the titles now and when we get closer to June we’ll give a blurb breakdown of what each means and some examples to help. Most prompts are lead into from the last -or- go into the next. So the more you can work in past elements the better!
MOST IMPORTANTLY - DON’T get overwhelmed right now!
If you feel yourself starting to freak out go back to taking each topic day-by-day. Be optimistic, have fun with it, and remember it doesn’t need to be perfect! You can always go back afterward and fix anything you need to!
This story will be PRACTICE!
If you finish all the days within the first week of July, Cloverkin and Galvosaur will offer a FREE CLASS on how to turn your story INTO A PHYSICAL BOOK!
Find Journey June on IG|TWITTER|FB as @JourneyThruJune Message us on IG if you have questions! REMEMBER. This challenge is about QUANTITY OVER QUALITY! We would rather you finish it at a lower quality than have a couple days fully rendered. It’s more important that you get the story out. You can always go back and fix things later. This is meant to be PRACTICE! So don’t get stressed out or overwhelmed. Most importantly HAVE FUN! Duh. 😋
Also, to be able to make your story work right, you’ll need to read through all of the prompts FIRST.
There are some that deal with other ones and placing things earlier that will reappear later. It’s also smart to have your Hero designed by the time June starts. Make sure you like them and can draw them easily. Stick to simpler designs on this one, you’ll be drawing them a lot! Ideally use a completely new character/world. Don’t use something pre-existing as you’ll feel too much hesitation with throwing them into certain things or feel like this story you make then becomes part of theirs. Not necessary. Remember, this is practice and we want you to treat is as disposable. It’s the experience and the journey that will stick with you. If at the end of the challenge (we give you until the first week of July to complete all 30) you finish your journey, you can get a FREE CLASS from Cloverkin & Galvosaur on how to make a book! Because you earned it! So there is a prize at the end if you can defeat the boss and get back home! :) If you’d like a set time during the day to do your Journey June, swing by our Twitch channels and draw with us! We’ll have a giant art jam! Galvosaur streams: Mon @ 9PM CST | Wed @ 4PM CST | Sat @ 4PM CST Galvosaur’s Twitch Cloverkin streams: Tues @ 9PM CST | Thur @4PM CST | Sun @ 4PM CST Cloverkin’s Twitch Find Journey June on IG|TWITTER|FB as @JourneyThruJune Message us on IG if you have questions! ____________________________________________________________

!!!!!!!!!!!!
Original character model drawing of the Road Runner by Chuck Jones, graphite on paper, glued to art board, approx. 7″ x 5″, circa 1945. Although Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote did not appear in a cartoon until 1949′s “Fast and Furry-ous”, Jones was thinking about the characters as early as 1945.

Alors qu'il triomphe sur France 3, Oggy va maintenant conquérir l'espace et vous faire exploser de rire, escorté par Diego Aranega au scénario et Frévin au dessin. - $6.99
Oggy and the Cockroaches
(known as Oggy et les Cafards in French, often referred to as Oggy) is a French animated comedy series produced by Xilam and Gaumont Film Company.
The show centers on Oggy, an anthropomorphic blue cat, who would prefer to spend his days contentedly watching television and eating - if not for the three roaches in the household: Joey, Dee Dee and Marky (all named after members of the punk rock band Ramones). The trio seems to enjoy making Oggy’s life miserable, which involves mischief ranging from (in most cases) plundering his refrigerator to such awkward things like hijacking the train Oggy just boarded. Oggy usually finds creatures accompanying him to the end of the episode, such as crabs, clams, a horse, a very technologically advanced child, a puppy, and an octopus. However, it is not always Oggy who wins.
The cartoon relies on slapstick humour, much like its “ancestor”, Tom and Jerry, but amplifies the level of extremities up a notch. While traditional slapstick cartoon characters prefer dropping anvils and pianos on each other, this show sometimes uses buses or submarines. Despite these, however, most gags are easily accessible and enjoyable for younger viewers. Since dialogue is kept to a minimum, the humour is entirely visual.
Comics
A French comic series is adapted from the cartoon, first started out in 2010. It is published by Dargaud, written by Diego Aranega, drawn and colourised by Frévin, also known as Sylvain Frécon.[5]
16 April 2010 : Plouf, prouf, vrooo !
5 November 2010 : Crac, boum, miaouuuuu !
23 September 2011 : Bip…bip…bip…
