Maverick, standing just in the doorway of the cabin, puts his hands on his hips. His smile quickly creeps across his face, unable to keep the serious air he was desperately trying to muster.

“Uh-huh. Well well, looks like I caught a Christmas Angel.” He hums, taking a step forward to look her over. “I always knew they were beautiful but wow…” Stopping in front of her, he nods. “Nothing does justice.”

"Is there anything specific you wanna do? Should I gather the other two?" She pops two questions at him as she peppers his face with kisses.

Birthday boy starter!!

It's October 23rd, Peter's 19th birthday! He's sitting hanging down in a tree, happily licking the icing off a cupcake.

"Peter baby! There you are!" Jesse squeals, wings fluttering as she kisses him.

“Just make some space.” Ryder’s voice was low as he lifted the sheets and crawled in beside her. He wrapped his arms around her from behind, burying his face in her shoulder.

“You smell nice.”

"I'll have him make me more then." She murmurs, humming contentedly as she snuggles him.

No one had seen her. It was agreed they needed to check on her and given Maverick had frequented the house more often, if was agreed he should go and check it out.

It probably helped that he had a key.

When he opened it, he looked around, glancing around the space and frowning. There was no sign of her that he could see, building the twisted feeling in his gut and the fluttering of his heartbeat.
