THE BROKEN PROMISE
Happy times. Big dreams. I thought this was it. Forever. Then, things went wrong. Small things. A missed call. A quick text. A look that lasted too long.
You said it meant nothing. Just a mistake. A friend. You said you loved me. You said you'd never hurt me. You promised. You looked at me. You sounded kind. Promises. Empty words.
I remember the laughter we shared, the late-night talks, the way your smile brightened my darkest days. We painted our future with vibrant colors, filled with adventures and love. But in the blink of an eye, everything changed.
The truth hit hard. It broke everything. It wasn't just cheating. That hurt a lot. It was the broken trust. The lost faith. The pain of knowing you hurt me. You hurt me on purpose.
I think back. I look for signs. Did I miss something? Was it always there? Or did it just happen? I don't know. The questions bother me. They're like ghosts.
I'm angry. Really angry. But I'm also sad. Sad about what we had. Sad about what could have been. Our dreams are gone. It's like paper crushed. I miss the good times.
But this won't break me. I'm not a victim. I'm a survivor. This taught me things. It showed me what strength is. It showed me I'm worth something. Real love isn't about lies. It's about being loyal and kind. It's about caring.
The future is unclear. But I'll keep going. I'll get better. I'll learn. I'll love again. But I'll be wiser. Stronger. I am not broken; I am healing. And I am whole.
I won't let anyone lie to me again. Never again.

Pastor Rico Pandian's "Get to the Goal" sermon, based on Psalm 34:19 ("Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all"), really spoke to me. It wasn't about avoiding problems, but about facing them with faith and reaching the finish line God has planned. The sermon showed that tough times are normal for Christians, not a sign of God's anger, and it reassured me that struggles are part of the journey, not roadblocks.

Being thankful is really important for living a happy life! It helps us see all the good things we have, even the little things we might forget about. The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 that we should be thankful no matter what's happening. It's a choice we can make, even when things are tough. When we're thankful, we feel happier, calmer, and more content. It's like we see all the good things God has done for us, and it makes us feel really good. Being thankful also helps us focus on the good stuff in our lives, instead of getting stuck on bad stuff. This makes life feel more worthwhile and meaningful.

To me, "The Lord bless you and keep you" signifies God's abundant goodness and safeguarding presence in my life. I understand "The Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you" as a description of God's loving favor and kindness, showering me with blessings. "The Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace" conveys to me God's attentive care and the resulting inner peace and tranquility He provides. In essence, the blessing promises God's constant presence, protection, favor, and peace in my life. This verse offers me comfort and hope, reminding me of God's unwavering love and support in all circumstances.

I see their smiles, a warm embrace,
A gentle touch, a loving space.
Their laughter rings, a joyful sound,
A comfort found, on solid ground.
Their eyes reflect, a depth of care,
A bond we share, beyond compare.
They hold my hand, through thick and thin,
A love within, that knows no end.
In their presence, my spirit soars,
A love that endures, forevermore.

I love the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. It's so loud and powerful, but it also makes me feel really relaxed. When I hear the waves, I feel calm and peaceful. All my worries just melt away. It's like nature's way of helping me feel better.

I'm studying today because I want a job that can provide for my family. I know I need to work hard to achieve that. It's not easy, but I'm determined to make it happen. I want to be able to support them and not have to worry about our financial security. I'm hoping that this hard work will pay off in the end so I can give them a better life.

I miss the warmth of your smile, the shape of your nose, the sparkle in your eyes. The feeling of your hand in mine, the comfort of your hug, they're all clear memories that I miss. It's not just your looks I miss, but how you make me feel. Every part of you reminds me how much I miss you. I miss you, really miss you.

This quote makes me think a lot. It's simple, but it says something important about how people are. We often want to change the world, like fixing problems and helping others. But we forget to look at ourselves and how we can change. This quote reminds me that real change starts with us. Before we can make the world better, we need to look inside ourselves, see our own mistakes, and try to become better people. Only then can we really help others. It's a good reminder that we all have a part to play in making the world a better place.

I've learned that it's not worth wasting my energy on people who don't acknowledge me. It's a simple truth: those who truly value me will make an effort to stay connected. I'm choosing to focus my time and attention on those who appreciate me, and letting go of the rest. I deserve to be surrounded by people who cherish my presence. Life is too short to dwell on those who disregard me.

Sundays are my favorite day of the week. There's something about the feeling of community, the uplifting music, and the inspiring messages that just fills my soul with peace. Going to church on Sunday is like a balm for my heart, a place where I can find healing and recharge. It's a reminder that I'm not alone in this journey, and that there's always hope to be found. ✨🙌🏻

Being single doesn't mean I'm incomplete. It means I'm taking this time to invest in myself, to grow, and to discover who I truly am. I'm learning to love my own space, to appreciate my independence, and to prioritize my happiness. It's okay to be single, and it's even better when you're surrounded by self-love.

It's easy to feel like I need to beg sometimes, but I'm done with that. I'm worthy of respect and kindness, even when I feel unsure. I'm going to believe in myself and let my confidence guide me. 🤞🏻🎀

True strength isn't about how much you can lift, but about how much you can endure. It's in the quiet moments of self-reflection, the deep well of courage within, that we find our greatest strength.

I have a lot to do every day, but I'm working towards some big things. It's a lot to handle – work, school, home, and church – but I'm getting things done, little by little. It's a busy life, but it makes me feel good.
