I had several theories of how season 3 would go and I could not have forseen this?!?!?!?

now David can see Exer's magic I've got a few THEEOOORRRIESSS

I think its either going to go the "they love eachother so much they've become intertwined and connected" route, which would be adorable but slightly predictable

or (and this is only in the case that the scenes of jackson and exer + david that are mushed together in the panel aren't happening simultaneously, and jackson's happened first) because jackson decided he was never using the diary again and is - metaphorically and physically - putting it out his mind, exer's magic has decided to latch onto david??

exer's magic might need someone to balance it out? like it needs a host to be in, and someone without powers who can influence it?? and he might have accidentally chose jackson as a child to be that person? and now jackson has resigned, it's connected to someone that's close to exer???

I'm betting now jackson might not be able to see exer's magic anymore if that's the case.

or maybe he still will be able to. who knows

anyway i don't have much else to say on that.

YES I disagree with him testing the limits, he shouldn't be messing with Exer even if its small things like making people float and breathing underwater, BUT at the end of the day he's only figuring it all out. what he's doing isn't coming from a place of hatred - more a place of curiosity- and it's generally harmless stuff. obviously I don't condone his actions but at the end of the day it's not villain level stuff

AND THE PROTECTION THING IS SO FUCKING ADORABLE THAT IVE FORGIVEN HIM IMMEDIATELY FOR THEM SMALL SINS

it's obvious jackson cares AND I LOVE HIM

however we've all seen the new photo with Jackson looking evil and Exer looking mildly scared. so I'm feeling like it's gonna get worse. but for now based on the contents of s3 ep1 and prior, jackson is an alright guy and WE LOVE HIM!!!
