The name is Jessica, but most people just call me Jazz. I'm currently in the process of getting my masters in Human Sexuality at the University of San Fran. You may or may not know me as that groovy radio host of sex plus on 90.5 at ten O'clock. It's the radest little show in the city, you should totally check it out.

Good point. I'm just surprised they didn't take any of my good wine.
Yeah, I'm fine- just missing my sour D.
"So someone broke into my house"
"and get this, the only fucking thing they stole was my pot, a few bottles of wine, and a cheap watch." Jazz let out a sigh and mumbled under her breath "Sometimes I wonder what the fuck is up with this city."

On most weekends Jazz found herself at some volunteer event somewhere around the city- ever since she was little she had dreamed of contributing to something bigger than herself- and she saw volunteering at the grassroots level as a start. The event was full of people who shared Jessica's vision and being surrounded by such a wonderful energy brought a giant grin to her face. She couldn't help but smile as she waltzed around the room, helping wherever she could and doing her job as an educator- passing out papers and talking to anyone willing to listen to her cause. Time had blown by and the red head found herself in surprise when she was dismissed for her lunch break. She headed over to the line that was forming towards the back of the room where most of the volunteers had gathered to pick up their lunch. Jazz turned around, a small smile on her face, as she extended her hand out to meet that of the stranger next to her. "Hey!" she replied, a clear spark in her eyes. "Pleasure to meet you. My name's Jazz." She loved meeting fellow volunteers at these sort of events and she was eager to talk to T.K. "I'm here with a few of my classmates, we're here from USF's graduate human sexuality program."
Greet a Helping Hand || Jazz & T.K.
Charity work was Taylor’s favorite kind of work. More fun than any writing he’d ever engaged in, more rewarding than any paycheck, he couldn’t keep the smile from his face as he worked the trays through the line in the kitchen. It was a charity dinner- for an HIV/AIDS fundraiser, and half of his coworkers and friends were there, but Taylor still didn’t know three-quarters of the people working behind the scenes. It was a bigger event than he’d been told it was.
"Oi!" He felt a nudge at his back, and turned around. One of the organizers, and a good friend of his, was pointing at a plate and a pot of food. "It’s your dinner break. You’ve got thirty minutes, and then you’re on dish-washing. You alright?"
He looked at the broadside of Taylor’s face, but Taylor was gone too quickly to answer, with nothing more than a ‘Thanks, bro.’ He scooped up a plate and got in line; he was not the only one on break. There were three others from the volunteer staff of eighteen mingling about, and he was standing next to a girl. “Hey,” he said, with a cheerful, if tired grin, sticking out his gloved hand for a shake. “I’m T.K. Are you here by yourself?” Most volunteers had come from organizations or churches; he was curious.

Jazz gave her a warm smile, "Thanks." she said as she let Alex take the bag. The lights seemed rather violent to Jessica's eyes as she stepped out of the night and into the woman's home. She looked around, appreciating what she saw."Um yeah, coffee sounds great." She gave Alex a small smile as she tucked one of her red locks behind her ear. "We should head out soon though if we want to catch the sunrise, so travel cups work."
Jazz followed after Alex into the kitchen, resting up against one of the counters as Alex poured them coffee into two identical travel cups. "Sugar? Cream?" Alex asked with an inquisitive raise of the brow. "Two Sugars, Two creams. Thank you, dear." Jessica gave her a nod before looking up towards the lights and continuing to speak. "So I was thinking we head out now and we get to catch the sunrise from the freeway and then we can find an Ihop or something and get pancakes." She continued to talk as they headed towards the garage and settled in the car. "Sound like a plan?" The red head asked as she slipped into the passenger seat. The engine roared to life and they pulled out of the driveway and into the empty streets of San Francisco. Their adventure had begun and Jazz couldn't wait for the trip- she had a feeling it was going to be particularly memorable.
One for the Road|| Jazz & Alex
Alexis was excited about that trip. Usually the brunette would dive into adventures, but not with complete strangers. It wasn’t scary though. When she’d think about it being creepy, Alex would just put in mind they had texted and added each other on Facebook before anything. So it wasn’t like she didn’t know the girl after exciting texts and likes on the social media. People were judgy about it, but it was surprising how much you could find out about someone through social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. And well, she wasn’t exactly worried. Jessica seemed like a very fun and nice lady; and neither her best friend Sydney had argued about her going on a car trip with a stranger—Syd has actually joked about joining them.
The day set for their departure, Alex woke up before the sun. It was truly rare for her to he up that hour if it wasn’t being awake before. Her bags had been set and ready two days previous, though she did change and took some things off along the days. She decided just to pack one case medium size and it still felt too much. Well, Alexis was someone with too much little stuff to travel with. She texted Jazz about being ready and prepared coffee while waiting for the woman. Hearing the doorbell, Alex went right to it, going downstairs to the gate.
"Hey, Jazz!" She greeted with a smile, though her eyes were still bed-lazy. "Yea, we’re going in my car, all my stuff is in there already. No worries." She shrugged it off and noticed her stuff. "Let me help you with this." Alex reached for her bag in a gentle way and helped the girl with it. "Come on, the garage entry is through the living room." Alex lead the way, waiting Jazz to follow her. "You like coffee? I made us some. If you want to head to the car already, I’ll just put it in some travel cups and be right there." Suggesting, the brunette pointed the garage entry to Jazz, as the car was already open it’d be no problem.

Ooooh or I could have it delivered to them by a drag queen who can sing Cher's greatest hits as they hand them the card- it'll be really really gay. I was tryyyyiiiingggg to be modest- but I am a woman of many talents, mixing a kick ass Mojito is only one of them. Alright perfect, I'll send you a message with the address and what not later. Why are we still signing names? Seems rather proper but fuck it! -Jazz Alright awesome, we can finish off the rest of the weed after the party....or maybe we should just hotbox the bathroom too hmmm- again my nanna will probably join us She mights actually.....she's like 60 and barely a hundred pounds though so we should just get a few glasses of wine in the kraken and I think we're good for the evening.

Yeah, once I graduate I'll send them a big cake that just says "I'm gay. xoxo" in the mail...or I could always come out through a wedding invitation.
I like alcohol and getting creative so it just seemed like a natural hobby for me to gravitate towards- it's not a career or anything but only one of my many talents- okay maybe it's my only talent... I don't have class on Thursdays, and I only have a morning class on Fridays so either day is fine- I work at night though so how does Thursday at five-ish sound? -Jazz
Well not drunk per say, I was thinking we pregame it before the party so that we're just a tiny bit tipsy- or maybe we hotbox the car, and then we just get for and more drunk as the night progresses. My nanna will totally drink with us, I'm pretty sure she hates my mom as much as I do.

I don't plan on lying to her forever....just until I get my doctorate degree because college is expensive and they're paying for it- plus, I don't think I'm ready to be potentially disowned just yet. I mix some really good drinks so I promise I wont disappoint! Alright awesome! I'm not sure where you wanna meet up, I figure a coffee shop or something works well?? I live in the Mission District and I know some really good little coffee shops in the area, but if that's a bit far for you I'm totally cool with meeting up wherever, just name a time and place and what not. Thank you so much, Jazz It's a fucking nightmare but I guess if you're not sober it can be quite entertaining....

Hey coolcats, so here's the story- I have a birthday dinner with my family in a few weeks (March 15th, 2014) and I may or may not have lead my mother to believe that I am in fact not a lesbian and will be bringing a date with me- a date of the male variety... So basically shoot me an email if you would be interested in being my date for this awfully boring event- I promise afterwards we can go out somewhere totally fun and we can get really drunk and pretend you never had to go through the awful experience of meeting the poster family for privileged upper middle class white America. We can work out all of the information over email and I would like to meet with you for coffee before the dinner just to talk everything out and all that Jazz. Feel free to email me with any questions and may you be blessed with tons of good karma because my family totally sucks. Thanks, Jazz Smith.
#feeel free to reply to this however you want#we could do this like an email convo type thing#or shoot me a message and we can talk it over if you would be interested in doing this plot#OroStarter
