The KOTLC fairytale gift exchange has gotten me into a kotlc mood so. have the twins if they were in a xianxia AU <3 (for those of you who don't know what that is, it's a genre most aptly summarized as "fantasy ancient china")

anyway. rambling about details: linh has two swords because i think that's neat, tam has long hair now because i like the vibes + smth smth tradition, their pendants are in the other twin's color scheme, and original sketch below the cut because it's a little less pretty~

don't come after me for the hanfu I'm chinese and I've seen/read enough xianxia/wuxia stuff that i know they're also bullshitting the costumes

Heaptober 2023 (Days 1-6)

Day 1: uhhhhhh idk witches are cool girls are pretty. I hate shading in this sketchbook because the paper is really bad quality. That's my real signature in the corner but you can't read it so it's ok.

Day 2: SO CUTE. I LOVE HIM. drawing rats might be my new favorite thing ever

Day 3: Beetle. I also love him. I'm trying to draw faces in perspective and it might have worked????

Day 4: very cliche very boring depiction of masks but it fits marcia and i am a cliche and boring person <3 also i wanted to draw her with long hair

Arc Three alternate universe—the Second Tree Wars are at their height, casualties higher than ever on both sides. In the midst of it all, three dragonets are setting up the dominoes to topple an empire.

(do i know when this WIP will be finished? oh no. will it be long, convoluted, angsty, and contain copious amounts of found family? absolutely.)
