Me trying to slowly get back into art and animation

I realized that I was not going to find success with my art and had no motivation and dropped it. But after having a surge of inspiration to draw silly hedgehogs that go fast I decided to try and stretch those skills again. I'm very rusty but this was fun, and honestly the challenging but satisfying feelings I get from art feels like a friend I haven't seen in a while.

This is my first time painting my shoes so I can't talk to the flaking just yet. But I looked up some YouTube videos on how to paint shoes and was shown the Angelus paint brand that shoe painters usually use.

I got the starter kit below and cleaned and degreased my shoes before starting to paint. My shoes are made from some shitty fake leather so some of it peaked off and are already cracked so there are cracks in the paint but not because of the paint.

Hope this helps you and others curious about the materials.

Prep is most important part of painting your shoes (so I've heard on many videos) so make sure not to skip that part. And I believe if you are painting on softer materials there is a medium to mix with the paint to make it more flexible ( but you can probably just get cheaper fabric paint from Michaels for that).

If Amy's dream is to open a bakery and Shadows (according to one of the twitter takeovers which is 100% conon and no one can tell me otherwise) is to create a sanctuary for stray cats (which is so fucking cute, I can't believe they made me like him more who knew that was possible?!)

Then wouldn't it be so cute for them to open up a cat cafe together?!

I'm sure Shadow would have his reservations, like could be trust random strangers with the kitties he swore to protect? But Amy would argue that this would be a great way to find permanent homes with families to love them. Amy's compromise is letting Shadow kick any who he deems 'unworthy' out of the shop.
