"Ahhh you're gonna kill me!" He walked forward more carefully, worried about where he was stepping. He opened his eyes and his jaw dropped. "They got you this?! Are you kidding?! I want one!" alex walked all around the bike, checking out  every single aspect of it.

”Oh shut up!” She exclaimed, laughing. It was weird because he was always teased for his height and it seemed that he grew into a giant over night. As his tone changed into a worrying tone, Iris snorted. ”Yeah, exactly!” Smirking, she walked forward and continued to talk to him, knowing that it would ease him off a little. ”Relax. The worst thing I can do is lead you into the river. And I couldn’t do that to you…well, maybe…” Iris bit her lip so she wouldn’t burst out into laughter, but it was okay as they soon arrived to where her jet black motorcycle was. ”Alright, scaredy cat, open your eyes!” She said, grinning as she took her hands away from his eyes.

Alex didn't remember how many years the two had been apart, all he knew was it was a very long time. Too long. The boy ran after her, laughing "Hey, now I'm taller then you." Alex smiled, "why are you covering my eyes? You know I don't like it when I cant see!" He followed her directions. "I don't know If I trust you enough for this!" he kept walking.

Iris tucked a few stray strands behind her ear and gave Alex a warm smile, hiding all of her thoughts that seemed to crash into each other. So much has happened in the years that Alex had been absent in her life, and she just didn’t know where to start. She was especially scared of telling him the more horrifying parts, but she was sure that she could keep it from him until she was ready. Techincally, it wasn’t lying. It was just telling part of the truth. As she continued to run with him, she rolled her eyes at his comment, then made him stop. Iris and Alex had been roughly the same height when they were growing up, but now she realised that he was way taller than her now. ”Shit, someone had a growth spurt.” She teased but still stood on her tiptoes to cover his eyes with her hands. Iris told him to walk forward, giving him directions and laughing as he tried to do it.

Pfft, like you aren’t an idiot. [sticks her tongue out and then laughs at his reaction] Duh! It was a present. From my new family. [shrugs] Come on then! You need to see it! [she holds his hand and then runs down to where the motorbike was]
