how do you deal w being exhausted? should i workout if im exhausted or should i just rest ( i had to eat today after a three day fast i was a little weaker than normal )
hello butterfly! so if i’m exhausted or feeling i’m about to pass out i eat something light and that i know will make me get better. if i’m dizzy i know it’s probably my low insulin level telling me to have some energy source and i’ll just eat some light candy/fruit and wait.
i do not force myself to workout when fasting through longer periods or when i’m feeling sick, i don’t really fast for days anyways tho. i discovered that having a good fasting/eating window works better (but that’s just my case).
if you’re not getting results through fasting for days then maybe you should try a different approach (one that works for you, like i have mine).
hope this helps somehow :) stay safe!

something really funny (maybe not really, but ironic) made me smirk the other day at work.
the receptionists were talking about how much i could eat and i just wouldn’t gain because of my genetics (barely do they know).
“Angel could eat the entire grocery store down and she wouldn’t gain a pound. it’s just her genetics/body type”
for so long i earned to hear something like that and i’d always planned on agree. i know it’s a lie. genetic my ass, call it effort and disordered.
im very grateful tho :)

hey guys how you doing? i’ve been a bit idle this past weeks but it’s all due to my job and college. i’m currently dealing with a terrible ana mia cycle and i’ve lost a lottt.
a crazy thing is that it doesn’t matter how much you lose you still feel huge and it doesn’t seem to be real. it’s like the scale is lying? lol idk if it’s just me.
but hope you know that i’m here and i’m always open to receiving questions so i can help you out like i’ve been helped. love you, drink that water and stay safe bitch.

Resisting an intense craving can be challenging, but there are effective strategies you can use to manage and overcome it:
Pause and Reflect: Take a moment to pause and assess why you’re craving something intensely. Are you hungry, bored, stressed, or just tired? Sometimes understanding the root cause can help you address it more effectively.
Distract Yourself: Engage in an activity that takes your mind off the craving. This could be a hobby, a workout, reading, or even a walk. Keeping yourself occupied can help reduce the intensity of the craving.
Use the 10-Minute Rule: When you feel a craving, give yourself 10 minutes before acting on it. Often, cravings will pass on their own if you can just delay the impulse.
Drink Water or Herbal Tea: Sometimes, drinking a glass of water or a cup of herbal tea can help you feel fuller and reduce the intensity of the craving.
Practice Mindfulness: Use mindfulness techniques to observe the craving without judgment. Recognize that it’s just a temporary feeling and remind yourself of your long-term goals.
Chew Gum or Eat a Healthy Snack: Sometimes chewing gum or having a healthy snack like fruits, nuts, or yogurt can help satisfy your craving in a healthier way.
Change Your Environment: If possible, change your surroundings to help break the craving cycle. If you’re craving junk food while watching TV, try moving to a different room or engaging in a different activity.
Visualize Your Goals: Remind yourself of why you want to resist the craving. Visualize the benefits of sticking to your goals, whether it’s feeling healthier, fitting into your clothes better, or achieving a personal milestone.
Seek Support: Talk to a friend or family member about your craving. Sometimes, just sharing your struggle can help you feel more supported and less alone.
Reflect on Past Successes: Think about times when you’ve successfully resisted cravings in the past. Remind yourself that you’ve done it before and can do it again.
Keep Healthy Options Handy: Have healthy alternatives readily available so that if a craving hits, you can choose a healthier option instead of giving in to the junk food.
Allow Yourself a Small Indulgence: If the craving is overwhelming, allowing yourself a small portion of the desired food can sometimes help satisfy the craving without derailing your goals completely.
Remember, it’s okay to experience cravings, and learning to manage them is a skill that takes time and practice. Being kind to yourself and staying focused on your goals can help you navigate these challenges more effectively.

How do you stop binge eating? How many calories should I be eating daily?
hey babe! so honestly it’s a slow (and most times really hard) process. my tips are: put in your head that you can restart after a binge and not everything is ruined. we usually have this all or nothing mindset where we’ll binge and then say fuck it cause it’s already “ruined anyways”, and that’s the biggest lie that slows us down. keep in mind that if u binged you just need to move on and go back into your diet.
start with a 1000 cals intake (with healthy but yummy food) and SLOWLY work your way down (don’t do extreme or you’ll gain more again, it sucks but the slow way works better). exercise daily, 10k steps, u don’t need much, you just need to walk everyday. therefore your mind will feel the relief of accomplishment even tho it’s not a really hard workout. drink. that. water. she’s your best friend! and remember that even tho 1k may sound like a high intake you’re actually in a big deficit. keep in mind it takes time but it will be worth it.
love you 🤍

this week has been the craziest. I've been through 1 milion different thoughts and objective changes and going viral on that other app... Yet, after thinking i'd found myself stable and well again as in energy and thoughts matter, i went down a depressive whole once more. been stuck b/p like never before. My face hurts, my mouth and throat are completly f up and no one knows. Therefore i come to realize that it's all about the ups and downs. Life can not be stable all the time and yet you got to keep moving foward. Always foward. The hardest part is addmiting to myself that i'm disorded in more ways than one, it's lonely, yet im not entirely alone. Nevertheless i'm still pretty grateful for the improvements, even the tiny ones that i'm making for myself.
With love, Angel.

having to deal with this disorder is completely ironic and sadistic. you spend most, if not all of your time thinking about it, coping with it and trying to forget it. nonetheless no one around you have a single clue of the mental/physical struggles you are going through. it’s the most lonely illness anyone could ever have.
i wish i felt differently.
