During the past weekend, I was able to test Napturally Caribbean’s very 1st line of all natural products. I tried the Herbal Healing package and let me say, the Peppermint Sugar Scrub was my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! Dr. Hinds' team was not just a unit but truly a family who took such good care of us. But the absolute best part of all was once again getting to spend every day with my best friend. What the hell is Good Hair?!

This is a rant. A rant because it’s annoying that Black people continue to think that unless you are a ‘mixed chic’ you can’t have ‘good hair’. WHAT IS GOOD HAIR?!

All hair types are good, it’s your treatment of it that makes it ‘bad’. There are white people with tacky unkept dry hair, same for the Indians and the Douglas or other mixed chics. So what’s your point?! Only a black girl can have bad hair?

I’ve made it my duty to post these pics of one of my gorgeous friends who has NATURAL BLACK GIRL HAIR. She decided to do a blow out and flat iron of her hair and it is so extremely beautiful. This proves how versatile, healthy, pretty, thick, shiny, long and ‘Good’ a black girl’s hair can be.

This isn’t to throw any hate out on persons who aren’t wearing their hair natural but a wake up call. Can the ignorant, condescending and down right foolish remarks about good hair vs bad hair stop.
