Pigeons Point Heirtage, Tobago, West Indies

So, let's take a break from speaking on the negative when it pertain to our environment and embrace the beauty that it is.

Let's look at the beauty that is known as the Pigeon Point Heritage Park located in the beautiful island of Tobago that is part of the twin isle Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

Located in the Southern Caribbean within close proximity to Venezuela, it is home to some amazing cultural practices such as carnival, goat race, tasty delicacies, soca and so much.

Ok! Pigeon Point Heritage Park...the second most scenic place in Trinidad and Tobago.

ITS CONSIDERED THE most beautiful beach and is home to the world famous thatch-roofed jetty which has become an internationally recognised signature of Tobago. The resort includes a long stretch of white sand beach with warm aquamarine waters. There are excellent beach facilities such as bathrooms, showers and beach-chair rentals as well as bars and a restaurant. Tourist amenities include souvenir and water-sports shops.

Be a Naturalist

Head out to the shoreline between June 1st and June 16th to participate in California Academy of Sciences' annual Snapshot Cal Coast event. 

Sounds great! Let’s do it.  Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park here we come!

Off of Highway One in Pescadero, on Pigeon Point Road, there are Pigeon Point Bluffs which sit just above a wonderful place to go tidepooling. As you wind further down that road there is Pigeon Point Lighthouse & Hostel where we stayed overnight to wake up early June 2nd to find sea anemones, sea stars, crabs, and maybe even nudibranchs or an octopus amongst the rocky outcrop.

If you asked me when I was younger if I would ever wear a speedo, I would have said, “Ew no”. As I’ve grown older I’ve learnt to try new fashions and experiment with them, clearly. I’ve found that as I get more comfortable I like having the option of wearing a speedo. I like the variety of designs and I also like the fit on my body since I am smaller framed guy. So what I’m saying is, Don’t be afraid to try wearing things that once made you feel uncomfortable. Don’t let social stigma and imaginary societal rules stop you from wearing what you want.
