Hello! I am reading Jinx and I'm genuinely enjoying it. I like the plot and action, even if it's been done 1000 times already, but it's just the kind of trope I personally like. The characterizations are also nothing new, but for me, I like Mingwa's take on the dynamic. I am however anticipating (expecting!) character development from both Dan and Jaekyung - and I think there have already been hints that there will be, to some extent. I think my enthusiasm for this story would absolutely deflate if there isn't some kind of development. So we'll see!

I guess jinx is just a new flavor for me so it's been hard to get used to, I definitely think something *has* to give with these 2 characters so that's why I keep reading it bc im like how in the world is this author going to redeem jaekyun haha, if they plan to anyway. with this latest chapter (spoilers if u haven't read it yet) i do see that Dan is apparently getting a bit of gumption which I like, but Jaekhyun remains the same so I'm wondering what's in store for him

im definitely glad people are enjoying it though, I just needed some confirmation, i don't know anybody else that reads BL/manwha and it's hard to find specific discussions on reddit so I appreciate the response:D

anyone reading the BL Jinx by Mingwa -- are you actually enjoying it?

im quite genuinely asking this for curiosity sake because I am keeping up with it out of a morbid curiosity (morbid in the sense that I loathe Jaekyun and Kim Dan might actually be the quintessential pitiful, no personality, no backbone, no self esteem or any self preservation NOR social awareness having protagonist apparently) and cannot believe how consistently unlikeable both of the MCs are. Its hard for me to see past my bias so I'm genuinely curious if anyone is actually having a good time/enjoying/entertained/rooting for these characters with these updates? no judgement if so, also haha, I just want confirmation!!

i don't want reverse Sonamy in the next movie....i like fangirl amy....i like when she's "annoying" and obsessive and I like the fact that she's really open abt her crush... am I being an old dish rag that just doesn't want change?

I get that Amy's character isn't all about sonic, bc i myself have ranted many many times that she's more than her crush on sonic lol but !! I also like that part of her a lot, idk Amy has always felt super relatable to me.. maybe im scared they're gonna girlbossify her too much or something more than the concept of sonic crushing on Amy out loud.

like idk i don't want them to turn Amy into one of those no nonsense, eye rolling, know it all corporate Girl Boss Power character types 😭 I like how she wears her heart on her sleeve and how she's sometimes erratic/emotionally driven and tough and super sweet and incredibly kind, I just don't want them to change too much about her!!!! 😭
